Yoo Hoo ! Another Wet Tuesday ! Morning All It's calling for more RAIN ...I'm gonna start installing Umbrellas and Boots..So when ya come into the kitchen you all won't be wet and muddy.. like my critters..gosh another day with wake up in the middle of the night ..loud bang and bright light..my poor Reba dove under cover..the rest well..they didn't let it bother them.. but ME.. well, I just knew it was gonna be a busy morning again ! Yep, out came the newspaper down on the floor absorbing all the wet and mub..Oh my aching back.. So, guess that's my exercise..bend pickup and dry off ... LOL and now.. here's another exercise..scan the forum to see what and where you are or heading..or even been up too ! Here goes..(ain't Johnny) oh speaking of. I did watch David Letterman..on that apology.. when will talk show comedians stop with the uglies..shame enough nonsense in the world than to hit on Kids ! That joke he did last week was a nasty shot at Sarah Palin's daughter..ok.. now let's get into something more positive..

SunshineCruiser..(Carolyn ) I did my visit to Walmart.. No can find those PJ's even looked on line.. they must just be carried in certain areas...Maybe when I go to Florida in Oct, I'll find them..they sure is neat lookin' booo hooo !!!!

I've heard from many that's what happened to some of the tow cars and rigs..common thing .. but great great pictures.. You keep us waiting for more.. and Nasoosie.. I know that Alaska has to be on your List of things to do ..when you retire I'm sure !! For me it's 2011 for sure Lord willin'

Vickie addressing a common issue with error messages on the Net.. Vickie some days the internet goes into withdrawls I think.. I've gotten message like that and had to switch browsers..Me often wonders if it only happens on IE explorer..but so far I haven't gotten those answers either ...just flip a coin..but do notice when in areas of bad storms..the internet gets really whacky.. So, if someone or any one has a clue.. Let's hear it !

Vickie..loved the Toy hauler.. lots of my dog show friends that have concession booths also use them.. when they first came out ..I though how neat great for all those motor cyclists and sure enough..big thing and lots of great ideas I've seen done with them..

Kayaking.. conversation..now for the pictures I hear ya Paulette and Soos.. pictures please and Vickie I'm like you.. I need a big boat and don't go in it often..did when I was younger..but now..oooooooh I'll watch and enjoy it with the rest of you !

PattyK.. (Patty) great hearing from you !! Wow..so you have been workkamping great and so far so good that's wonderful ..so you only have sewer and water connections..So the power is by just running your genny.. How long are you gonna be there.. and I guess you only run your genny to recharge batteries.. You is boondocking a bit I'd say..but at least you have the water and sewer which is a biggy in itself.. We're all anxious to hear more.. Post when ya can Patty and enjoy all the goodies around ya !

Redetotry (BJ) well now I can say I actually know someone that likes her Mondays ! I'll try and post a few cuties for ya too BJ as I must share some good news on Mondays..as for me.. well it's after a long weekend of family and that's a deal in itself..so Monday is lots of work loads..and then some.. LOL....

Lordy, it's nerve wrecking enough to have a house on the market but and empty one.. Crossing them fingers and saying a few prayers that all is ok ..Give us a Head up on it will ya..?

Cedar.. dogs are not like cats.. they will eat till they almost get sick.. Hence the cat is more wiser..knows no one else is gonna even attempt to eat all that LOL so one up for the Kitty !!! Ok, gals it's that time.. my brain is asking for caffine..and I'm needing to pick up the papers on the floor to put a new batch down.. and then get that coffee pot going... so......... I'll catch ya again.. and again and again LOL..

Coffee is perking Kettle is whistlin (dixie) and OJ and Cola is chilled..come one come all.. have a seat sit a spell and dish the news..cause we is always, always interested.. Now we could use a few of those biggy Cinnamon buns for sure..but do have some apple fritters and blueberry muffins and raisin cake.. that's it.. have to stop and pick up so goodies today..

Morning all....looks like rain here today....will have to run out and put the chair and swing cushions in the screen room so they don't get wet....again!!!! Oh, well........ One of my sisters and her hubby stopped by yesterday on their way home from a graduation in VA....had a nice lunch with them....we'll be see them when we take the 5er up state in July....

Ernie's out mowing lawns before it rains....and I'm getting around here.....lazy day....

Mornin ya'll. Busy here this morning. Took GD to daycare center and they were shuffling kids to another center because they had a water main break and so no water today! So, took her to the other side of town to the other center. Then back to the office and then took the Jeep to the RV dealer to have Autostop installed. Friend followed me there and brought me back here. Hopefully they won't be too long getting it installed and I'll have the Jeep back later this afternoon. Hope everyone has a great day. Lori, maybe the rain will pass quickly and the sky will blue up like it did here yesterday afternoon. Rained buckets and then cleared out beautifully for the afternoon and evening! We can always hope.

Good morning Zeee and all the rest. Zeee, I think those two crow/ravens have been following us up here in Canada...ever since one of them fell in love with Beth's rig and perched on it. She wasn't too happy with what they might be doing on the roof.

We're going to finish our tour of Dawson this morning with a tour of writers' cabins: Jack London (Call of the Wild) and Robert Service. Some of you may remember his poems, "The Cremation of Sam McGee" and others. Last a visit to the museum, then we'll be on our way to Chicken, AK.

Well, darn, there goes our horseback riding plans. It's raining here in Bishop. I don't know why I believe the weather reports after all these years. So, change of plans. We will go to the Bristlecone Forest and if need be, walk a little in the rain. Glad to read that so many are traveling, or making plans to travel and those that aren't can at least travel virtually. Yesterday was son's 40th. Where does the time go? So we skyped him and the family. Love technology. OK, breakfast and coffee are wafting my way, so I'm outta here and hopefully later will have time to look at pictures and blogs.

Liz, we got a "chicken" t-shirt while there. You are going the opposite direction we did-but the same as Jenny-if my memory-which occasionally fails-serves me right. carold

Mornin all! I sure wish yall could send some of that rain our way, it's been weeks since we got any. I need to mow, but the grass is dying in some spots for lack of rain and I don't want to cut it too short or more will die. Yard is too big to water, maybe just part of the front. And hot, the heat index is 100+ every day, rain sure would cool it off a bit!

I was wondering when Liz or Beth were going to post update and was excited to be still up when Liz posted, WhooooHoooo Can't wait for pics of the next section of their journey. Sure wish I was with them One day,,,

Alright, Homie is gonna come stiring around in the kitchen in a bit, wondering what's cookin for the day, so I better figure out what it's gonna be. Have a great day each and every one of ya!

Well it is cloudy here today, they say rain may return tomorrow...not sure as the only news we get is Seattle and we are 100 miles north, so it is not always true that we get the same as them. The accu-weather website just says we have clouds, but no rain. We are at day 28. The record is 29 days of no rain for the Seattle area. So if is doesn't rain tomorrow, they will tie the record. I do have to say..I have not really missed it. We had such a wet winter and wet and below average temp for spring..it has been so nice to have sun.

Well I will still be working on getting the house all cleaned up and ready for the house sitters. The kids are all cleaning their rooms today. I will finish up on the downstairs room. I want it cleaned up enough that if the house sitters want to use it they can...especially if the forecast holds true and we do hit the 90's at the end of June. (that 15 day outlook). We do not have AC and we have a home with daylight basement, which means the main floor is the upper level and the main living area is pretty much all windows...so it can get quite hot up here, when we start climbing into the 80's. The downstairs room is the craft/music room. So we will stack up DS drum set and have it out of the way. When we escape down there we just use camp chairs and and a fold out table. But the temp difference is huge.

We did get the news on the truck...it went in for brakes and oil change. It also needed new rotors, then the ball joints also and the differential needed flushed and changed out. This is turning into one expensive week for us. DS car is also now at the shop..it died on him as he pulled into the parking lot at the college. He did get it restarted and parked. So we drove out there and it started, but was running rough so we just drove it to the mechanic. It will be a couple days before they get a chance to look at it. So he is back to having to ride the bus..this is the last week of school...so that is good and he has two weeks before he leaves for his job at Boy Scout summer camp. Did I happen to mention he passed his Eagle Board this last week. So he is now officially an Eagle Scout and we will hold the ceremony late summer.

I will be working on the camp menu for the big trip. I am trying to figure out what to do??.. I am thinking that we will go ahead and pack enough meals to get us to the family reunion..that will be about 8 days worth of meals. I do not really want to be grocery shopping while we are doing the tourist thing in Bryce and Zion national parks. Then once we get to the reunion...since we will be there 4 days, it will be a good restocking point. Then we really only have to worry about a few travel days after that...as we finish up the trip at my brothers for 4th of July weekend. I also wonder if I will really have enough room for all that food. I think we may take a cooler for drinks, vs having them take up space in the frig. We can freeze the capri suns and they will provide the needed ice for a few days. For those that have done a long trip?? Now did you do it. There will be 5 of us...maybe 6 once we get to Idaho and hope to get our nephew to travel with us.
