HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY

Thanks everyone! I took myself to Laughlin, NV for my birthday - 3 days, 2 nights. It's a long, tedious drive, but I've always loved it there. A lot of changes due to COVID and no two casinos do things the same way. Not many food places open and the lovely pool at the Tropicana was COLD! It was always a favorite in the past because the temp was always perfect. I heard they lowered it 10 degrees - too much, guys! There is an outlet mall there but I think 2/3rds of the stores were closed and most of those out of business. Others had stock inside but hadn't opened yet due to pandemic. You know there's a serious problem with a mall when they have a thrift store in one of the units! A good local cause, but really? In an outlet mall? At least I was able to pick up 3 paperbacks so I had something to read beside the pool!

All in all I had a pretty good time anyway.
