Shadow

Postby snowball » Fri Apr 30, 2021 9:49 pm

I knew when I left Q that when I got to Tetonia that I would be putting Shadow down...his quality of life was not good by anyone's standard's .... so today was the day... the trailer seems very empty even though much of his time was spent sleeping I would look over at him even lots of times wondering if he was alive.... I am glad that I choose Shadow some things I would have changed but I am still glad he came to live with me and hopefully he was glad as well...
guess I won't be able to blame not getting rabbit's out because of talking to Shadow will I??

Sheila, my condolences. I recently lost my Bailey. Miss him terribly. I understand the emptiness when we have to say goodbye.

Shadow will still be with you in spirit. Glad you have family around you to help get you thru this.

It's one of the hardest things we do. Shadow was lucky to have you and vice versa. Hugs my friend.

I’m so sorry Sheila, but it became clear the time had come. Such a hard decision but one we have to make because we love them so much. (((((HUGS))))) my friend. Shadow’s pain and disabilities of old age are gone now and he’s running free.

Sheila so sorry the time had come. We are fortunate that we get to make that decision when we know it is time. It is so very hard tho. We miss them terribly but soon the sadness is overcome by all the joyous moments they gave us. I am so sorry my friend.
