SUNNY SUNNY SUNDAY!!

GOOD MORNING, ALL!!

I'm sitting in my screen room in the sun---a perfectly cloudless sky so far, and temperature almost 60 already. Here are a couple of pics I just took, and some I took yesterday in the clouds after I reorganized my woodpiles to make room for this year's delieveries in July.

How fast all the pretty flowers are fading! SOB....now will have to wait until whole years for more lilacs! Mountain Ash blossoms will turn to beautiful range berries in the fall, however.

Sure hope you all will have as nice a day as we are having. Pull up a chair in here and have some coffee while you type!!

Happy travels!

Sunny, sunny here today also outside of Death Valley, but the temperature just a LITTLE warmer  . Yesterday we had a cleanup day-park host said we could wash rv-no ladder, so I had to climb up to roof and wash some of the bugs off the front top (see picture on blog). Did laundry, went food shopping and today heading thru Death Valley and up the eastern side of the Sierra Nevadas toward the Sequoias, King Canyon and Yosemite. Have a good day. carold

So far. Yesterday there was this big bright disc in the sky and it confused me ... hadn't seen one for so long. But it went away quickly, leading to high winds, lighting and downpours (note the plural) off and on all day and night.

Tomorrow I get my roof leak fixed. The towels I used to mop up the carpet are outside drying.

It's a beautiful sunny day here in MD. I went to walmart and picked up some supplies and rv things for my trip next month. Decided to get some additional sewer hose (don't want to be caught short there!) and a new slinky (my old one bit the dust). Picked up the standard toilet chems and a few other items and before I knew it I had spent $150! Doesn't take long! Came home and cleaned out the bay that I use to store the sewer hose. Bought a plastic tub to put in there to hopefully keep it more organized. I need to wash the dang thing, but decided maybe next weekend would be a better weekend for that. Maybe I'll have more energy stored up by then!

School is over and summer vacation has officially begun here. GD has a lot going on this summer...Girl Scout Day camp for a week and her regular stuff they do through the day care facility. Plus we'll be heading west to Iowa to see her Dad and stepMom and step brother next month. She's excited about that, and so am I. However, for some reason a while back I thought it would be a good idea to invite my ex to go along. Not sure what I was thinking, but we shall see how this turns out. GD and ex get along like 2 kids, so they will either have a great time or I'll spend all my time trying to get them to behave!

Well, it is almost time for GD to come home. Her mom picks her up at noon on Sunday and keeps her till around dinner time. The dogs and I are just being lazy and sitting out on the back deck, enjoying the wonderful weather.

Hope everyone has had a great day.
