GOOD MORNING, ALL! (It's Thursday morning now, as I didn't have time to add to this thread yesterday!)
I was hoping that none of you was in that part of the country with those violent storms again yesterday, but I see that some of you were indeed. Sure hope all are ok, and that your weather will improve. Our day up here was warm, sunny, and top-of-the-line spring-like. I managed to get most of my lawn mowed again after school, and then spent a couple of hours at the pond with a friend and her family who were fishing again. The trout were being finicky last night, but they managed to get a nice feast of healthy, large brook trout. The frogs were serenading, the no-see-ums and mosquitoes were biting more than the fish, and it got downright COLD after the sun went down! But we had fun, sitting wrapped up in heavy clothes and chatting about the old days when all of our kids were small and used to spend all summer down there in tents and the leanto, buck naked all day, swimming, fishing, and boating. We had some fun times, as they did, too. There aren't too many places left around here where you can grow up that free.
Liz and group are still moving onward and upwards! I look forward each day to seeing some more spectacular pictures of the Ididaroad Trek. Cedar is trying to recover and get back into the swing of things after her camping weekend!
Coffee is still good, Barbzee! I zapped it in the microwave, and it's just as good as it was yesterday morning, I am sure! Thanks for the goodies and coffee.....now I'm off to get caught up on the rest of the posts! My computer was being stubborn yesterday, too, and didn't want to boot up at all. I need to do something drastic to ensure I don't lose all my stuff on here, in case it decides to give up the ghost. Later............
