Good morning Zeee and all.... !

Seems like I've been away for ages,... and it was only 4 days. I went back to work yesterday but have been crazy busy doing laundry, and catching up on blogs, ect. Still haven't gotten to the forums.

We had a great time at the LaFargeville/Stone Mills bluegrass festival. Left here mid-morning on Thursday after Kath had a wheel bearing replaced on her Explorer. A quick job and for anyone traveling in the north country,.. Egglefield Bros. Ford in Elizabethtown is a great place. Good people, good service. I nearly succumbed and traded for a SportTrac,... but I resisted. Oh I did love it! Just not in the financial plan to trade this year.

So back to the weekend,.... I'll post some pics as soon as i get them into PBucket. Highlight of weekend other than spending time with old and new friends was the speedboat ride on the St.Lawrence River,..... 1927 Hacker-craft ..... oooohhhhh..... so fine! You all know that for me there is no river but the St.Lawrence!

Hope all are doing well and enjoying camping. i caught up on the "I-did-a-road" blogs yesterday,... what a trip they are having! Fantastic reporting. I know Liz has posted pics to the forums so I'll catch those today.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Zee and RV Womens! Had the best weekend that I've had in a LONG time. 4 women...2 in each rig. Nice quiet campground. Set up in the skeeters and rain! I think we hit "feeding time" so the skeeters were well fed by the time we got all set up. Of course, my class A doesn't take much to set up, but my friend has a Roo, which takes considerably longer. Decided that the skeeter is the NJ State Bird! There was actually a group of 8 of us, 4 of the women are NOT camper friendly (how is that even possible????) so they stayed in a hotel. Cape May, NJ, in case you've never been, is a quaint little Victorian town on the souther point of NJ. So much to do there, but we only had a short time. We did attend the Strawberry Festival on Saturday and had a wonderful Strawberry/Banana smoothie! YUM. Went to the beach and collected sea rocks, sea shells and even found some sea glass (and a slight sun burn). Was amazed that they actually charge $5 a day (per person) to go on the beach, but they do have nice bathrooms at each enterance to the beach (convenient for sure), so it was worth it. You can also buy a 3 day pass and a season pass. We did go to the lighthouse (but didn't walk up it) and to the museum there. There are also several Bird Observatory areas in the area which would have been nice if we had had more time. I promise to post some pictures when I get them downloaded and into Pbucket. Good friends, Good food, Good laughs...what more can a person ask for???

Good Morning all...it is another wonderful sunny day. That rain never showed up these past few days. The clouds came in, but not a drop from them. We keep thinking that we are being so blessed with great weather...but how long will it really last. After the unseasonable cold winter and spring...could old mother nature be in a good mood over here. We are actually starting to tan and not rust.

We arrived back home yesterday...and the new cabinet doors are here. We had actually made repairs to the ones in the trailer so they would close. We may replace a couple of the ones that are still having some issue. May hold off on the others. Some of the doors sag a bit, as the holes have had the screws in and out a few times now. I think we need to get a good wood putty and fill the holes, let it set and then then drill new ones. I doubt we will get that done for this camping season. It may just become a spring project. That way if the cabinet's split again over the winter...at least we have the new replacements to put on.

So I just need a couple of more things for the trailer. Adding the additional coat racks..was great..huge improvement. Now I think I just need to come up with a clip for the hats.

I have a ton of end of the school work and reports to get done this week. We are going on a Family Camp with Boy Scouts this weekend to Leavenworth, WA.

I will try and get pictures from this last trip uploaded to my computer and then to photobucket and get them posted.

We camped with friends that are fulltimers...it was funny..they got to see just how busy we are, as it was local place so everything was still happening...they asked DH on Sunday night...if we are ever really home. LOL

Janice here posting from Seattle East (Utah). Is this really June? I can't remember EVER an early June being this wet in northern Utah. And COLD. I suppose I could just be getting ready for San Juan Island this fall. LOL.

I've jetted home for a two-day "stretch" -- quarters are pretty tight in my rig right now with two underfoot dogs & the big slide outta commission. I take it in on the 15th for all the repair work that need$ to be done ($lide, hydraulic leveler$ [yike], electric hot water element [I'm using my propane in$tead of park power!], fixing the roof leak and other happy $tuff.

I clipped the dogs again yesterday, so once again they are "naked" dogs (I took the clippers to Bandit again this morning to knock some of the "corners" off!). That means when I get back to the park it'll be jackets in the morning and night for a week or two. I may even have to put sunscreen on my little "blonde" lhasa, until her hair grows out a touch. LOL.
