Lol, Karen was interested so here goes. Out of nowhere, horrific back pain. So intense and unbearable I called an ambulance. In and out of hospital for same pain four more times. They treated with morphine, sent me home and the pain came back. I have adverse reactions to most medication. Spasms stopped but still unbearable pain. Me, my family at wits end. I had a lucid moment and connected muscles and physical therapy. Family called my go to guy, he said get her in here. The spasms stopped but the muscles were still so tight they radiated the pain. Physical therapy and of all things over the counter Aleve have made me think I will live a few more years.
My brother made me a beautiful carved walking stick. It is heavy but I took it on my walks down country roads. Self isolation, inactivity and using stick we think caused the spasms. So I will continue PT and learn exercises so I don’t have to experience that pain again. Rick, therapist, ask if I will be ready for spring training. I said “damn straight”
