FYI New Verizon Plan

Once in awhile I check to see what plan Verizon recommends for me. I think it's rude they don't give a heads up. Anyway, phone and tablet each with a hotspot and unlimited data dropped from $168 to $117.

What’s the best way and where to check for new plans Anita?

I now have 2 phones. One has a plan using AT&T, the other using Verizon. Neither directly from the carriers. One has unlimited text and data and can be used as a hot spot. One has limited data. I'm at $60/mo total for both. I did this because I still hit dead spots with both companies. And neither Verizon nor AT&T could match the prices. Crazy.

I have a Verizon tablet with a plan that only has 2 GB for $30. I only use it for a hotspot when I'm camping. They were saying on TV that they wouldn't charge for overages for people affected by the hurricane. I was using it at my son's because their internet went out. They charged me $30. I called to complain and my parish wasn't included. If I don't get a credit on my next bill I'm going to the store. We were hit by 2 hurricanes in 6 weeks.

Sandi, sign into your Verizon account, go to your plan and 'recommendation' button should show up.

I'm still paying for new phone so that's included inthe my bill.

I learned a trick a couple of years ago. Call Verizon and ask to speak to Customer Retention agent and don't take No for an answer. They will give you the very best deal just to keep you from leaving. After Mel died, I was ready to tun off hus phone and a good friend said, talk to customer retention. They really saved me money, even though we went from 3 phones (discount for multiple phones) to 2 phones and dropped the $10 a month simple phone my son had amd got him a brand new smart phone and took us from 6 G a month to unlimited and at HALF what I had been paying! Went from $228 a month for 2 smart phones with 6g each plus one dumb phone and cost dropped to $115 a month! Tell them you are looking into leaving amd ask what they can do for you.
