Friday !!!! It's Finally Here ...Good Morning All.. and here on the Eastern Side of Pa.. It's Wet, Wet, Wet...Should have posted a picture of a Duck..cause it's duck weather.. Yikes...although according to the weather man.. it's suppose to be nice over the weekend.. and speaking of nice...

Ididaroad gang appeared.. well.. and what fantastic pictures.. Goodness..I know you are all enjoying them as much as I am.. Lizzie, Carol, and Beth.. I had to check them over and over again.. even went on to Beth's Blog.. and Beth.. again great chatting with you too... Honestly if ever I could have I would have gladly been on this expedition.. but with those pictures you all are taking us with you...Critters galore and oh.. Carol.. if your peeking in.. That hat would have been ideal LOL...

Echo..again glad to finally have heard from you.. We all were biting at the bit wondering what in the world was happening.. Good chatting with you too.. ya know I have to get the SCOOP.. for my column hahahahaha...

Paulette .. I know you'll be venturing out for your Girls Weekend.. Remember Pictures and the Goodies you have to tell us.. Enjoy will miss ya..but I know you won't be far out of sight ...you'll have that laptop with ya..

Mtngal (Diana) aaaaaah you bring back memories for me.. Squash Blossoms.. as a kid I though every one ate them .. LOL and my friends were always dumb founded couldn't believe my Momma would make them LOL Diana..You did Good.. and by the way always good to see you come in the kitchen.. Doors are always open..!! Love the pictures you posted that truly is a paradise where you are.. I'm sure they'll get lots of visitors from our forum..

Seeyagal (Jenny and Dan) good to see you post have been wondering how you are .. and I know you are busy with your family.. and enjoying every moment.. We do miss ya too.. So please at least say "hello" .

Well, I've been busy myself this morning as with the rain comes the mud from the critters in and out and in.. yeah.. the old newspaper I put down for them to track on..and help in getting those paws defunked..LOL.. So with that I ran a tad bit late.. but hey.. I'm on no time schedule.. sooooooooo into the kitchen I charge.. hahahaha

Coffee Pot is perking.. Kettle is Whistlin..Oj in pitcher and Cola in the frig..yep, sure hope you all stop in and say "Hi".. let's hear what's happening in your neck of the woods... Table is set.. have a few goodies.. not much as.. it's off to the store I must go.. and yes, family is coming this weekend..oooooooh yeah.. so stove will be busy.. but I hope outdoors I have Biscotti and Banana Nut Blueberry Bread..and I have Scones with some homemade Plum jelly.. so help yourselves..

I brought some fresh homemade pecan rolls just out of the oven and I'm grabbing a cup of coffee. We are looking for pet boarding for Tobey and if we find something we like, we are heading to Pigeon Forge and east Tn. for a couple days. We want to go to the Story Telling Festival and meet up with a story teller friend of ours from Knoxville. Bash is looking on-line now for a kennel. The one here didn't return our call so guess they don't want any more business.

good morning ladies
no school today, the district has gone to a 4 day school week until August. Will be
stopping by 3 places this morning for job prospects. You know on those job applications
where they ask "why do you want to work here" ? well, I did some research and your
not supposed to say "for the extra money" a better answer would be "because my
knowledge and experience would be an asset to the company" and I struggle over that
one cause it really is FOR THE MONEY!! No one in their right mind would be working
two jobs just to spread their experience around. But, ya gotta do what ya gotta do
and give them the answers they want to hear. The harder part is my age, most places
want somebody young, but I am at least sticking to something I have knowledge and
experience about and that is driving safely and being friendly.
Coffee is ready and then I'll jump in the shower and get ready to go. Its a nice overcast
morning so that is a good thing for driving around town and beat'n the pavement.

Barb, those are beautiful (lilies, I think?...not a plant person here)...and optimistic about sunny days ahead.

Ava...I would think your humorous honesty would be refreshing to an employer...it was to me!

Fernie...hope you enjoy your trip to Pigeon Forge. You'd think in this economy businesses would bend over backward for your business...it's no wonder some are folding if they don't even return your call.

Haven't had time to read all the posts...will have a lot of catching up to do when the time comes.

Wishing you all sunny weather and traveling mercies...have a great weekend whereever you are! The Ididaroad gang will be heading back to the wilds of Canada today on our way to the Alaska Highway.

Rain, Rain, go away....Come again another day.... Yep, another rainy day here, too...
Ernie's out on the road....taking the older laptop to the repair guy to see if it is worth fixing....we'll see...it gives him something to do on this rainy day since he can't mow grass....Me, I've got my counted cross-stitch and visiting with all of you....

Am going now to see what's new with all of you....Hope there's more photos from the folks going to Alaska!!

Good-morning all !! Been ages since I have been here. Liz, is over gabbing with Beth, and left her computer to me, so here I am for a min. I have no idea what everyone is doing. But sure hope its something fun. We've seen some beautiful country. My dream to make this trip, and I sure hope others can at some time or other.

Ava, I agree with Liz, be honest, I thought your reasoning was right on, and would be unique, maybe get you hired.

Barb, I wasn't there when the girls were trying on the hats, but when told my choices, sure didn't appeal. I'm still looking Maybe I'm just to picky huh?
Hope you're doing well, Barb, have been thinking of you. Glad to see you've been posting our morning coffee times again.

Not sure what route we're taking today, fires up on the Alaskan hwy. Will get off here and go find out.

The breezes are picking up and the clouds are rolling on it. It seems our streak of sun is heading elsewhere. It has been great having it be so nice. I was really hoping it would stay nice through the weekend. Hopefully the clouds will be all that comes and the rain can show up Monday. This campout is winding down. It has been nice, the trailer is all ready for the season. Next weekend we will be camping at the KOA in Leavenworth, WA and then the week after that we leave for our big trip to Idaho, Utah, Arizona and Nevada..then back again. It will just be a few days shy of 3 weeks.

Other then that not much happening..it is a nice restful day...then this evening it is final set up for the Dance section of the highland games, then highland games all weekend.

GOOD AFTERNOON, ALL.

Lets hope that this might be the last day of rain here in the east for a while. We didn't get any rain up here in the north yesterday or today---in fact, it was warm and sunny all day after the morning frost, but those to the south of us got hammered again.

I hope Cedar got off on her long weekend yesterday after her 'glitch' with the tow car.

I hooked my water system back up yesterday (I was the one who blew it out for the winter and put antifreeze in the traps last fall) and was delighted to find NO LEAKS!) The hot water heater went back together without a hitch (I had removed the cal rod to drain it and just finger tightened it to keep mice out), had a bit of a problem trying to remember which position the by-pass valve needed to be in to get water flowing, but managed to get it all working! So I now have hot and cold running water out there, if I want it! I have been afraid to see if I did the winterizing correctly, and I guess I did.

I didn't attach my new surge protector thing yet, as I spent all the time on the water system, so will do that this afternoon. I will look for hooks on electric pedestals to help support that mammoth protector, as Alice found on one of hers.

Thanks for the after-dinner coffee! Love to have coffee after work.

I uncovered what's left of my woodpiles this afternoon so I can stack what's left to make room for new loads to be delivered aroungdthe first of July. I had planned to stay at the leanto, but think I am just fine right here in the trailer for tonight....still need to eat some dinner, and check the chatroom.
