Anne, I was wondering if you got your check. Another friend finally got through to them and is being told her account was hijacked and she should receive her check now in two to three weeks.

Yes, I did finally receive my stimulus right before 4th July. What happened was that the check was originally sent to my Post Office box, but the post office didn't forward it to my home address, instead sent the check back to IRS.

For about 4 weeks, the site said the "check has been sent", then it said it was "pending" and suggested that I could have it direct-deposited before it was re-sent. It would have been re-sent to my post office box, would again not have been forwarded, then (again) would have been returned to IRS.

So I went in and changed things so that it was direct-deposited. Took about 3 more weeks after I made the change, but finally the site gave a date when it would be direct-deposited - and, then, on that date, it finally it was!

Nice to have a spare couple of bucks. Which I will now probably be spending on vet bills for my Joe.

Really scared and upset about my Joe - not sure what to do.
