Oh My ! Tuesday Morning and hope you all have slept well and had great dreams of all those wonderful pictures the Ididaroad gang shared with us.. Ya can tell mine was of them Bears..LOL and an inspiration to get my asp in gear and get my legs going..LOL oh yeah .. I can see it now 2 more years..(Lord willin and the creek don't rise ) we'll get a caravan going .. Up to Alaska..Sound good ???? well think about it....See the Ididaroad gang is making our map for us.. even checking out the best places to camp..(ya like the idea so far) sounds good to me.. LOL

NaSoosie (Soos) great picture you posted yesterday.. what a sky.. good thing it was at night time.. I remember that Red sky at night Sailor Delight, Red Sky at Morning, Sailor take warning.. I recite that every time I see the sky in the morning LOL It was a really awesome looking sky.. Thanks..

(Tina) no one ever gets tired of seeing those darling pups grow..and yep, I do know the feeling of letting them go.. many many years I always ached inside..but knew they were in good homes and yep, I loved showing, 50 years worth..omg just thinking of all those years.. I too made a decision.. I just couldn't do it any more.. and when I travel I have 4 dogs..I have to set up Xpen.. and if I can get in.. So that's something we don't realize till we get the bug to go camping..very different feeling.. but I now so enjoy it when I can.. Those pups are darling and I'd say by the looks of the head of that Blue Roan.. might have a very interesting show career..keep us posted..

Lotus (Becky) We wish you all the luck in finding your home in Vegas..and yep.. we all can come visit too LOL Lots of great areas to go and I don't mind parking at the Casinos.. LOL As for the heat.. well, who feels the heat pulling them one arm bandits hahahahaha.. cling cling cling.. I wish you all the best Becky !!!

Bluepinecones (Blue) sorry about the sales being down.. but it's like that even with the pet supplies..people seem to be only buying actually what they need..and usually for Critters it's always been a toy here, some cookies, new collars.. but slow it goes..but I'm glad you got to enjoy that pot of coffee.. sometimes we need them days too !

I see I have your curiosity up with my comment about a rig,... relax my friend, I'm not doing anything unexpected right now. My dealer where I bought the Chalet has ordered a small, 18' Rockwood MiniLite. I really like it. But,... I don't think it's the thing to do right now. Of course i haven't seen it on the lot yet. They didn't order it for me,...just ordered it as smaller more economical rigs are the thing now. They have a really neat 23' there but I don't need anything that big as I'm only camping not full-timing.

My little digi videocam is great. So that is a huge success so far. I haven't tried to burn the dvds yet but that should be very easy. I'm used to burning music cds so can't be any different... or at least not much different.

Morning Zeee and Women RVer's! Beautiful morning out there this morning, but they are calling for it to cloud up and rain this afternoon. Hmmm, I don't think we need any more rain right now! Well, I guess Mother Nature has other ideas!

Been trying to get ready for a trip to Cape May, NJ this weekend. This is the 25th anniversary of a group of women that have been getting together once a year for a theme party. We've done all sorts of goofy fun things, like Hawaiian, Woodstock, Christmas in July, Toga Party, Rich Bitches, Cave Women, Motorcycle Mammas...it's a hoot. So this year, for our silver anniversary, we are going away for the weekend. Some are camping and the others are staying in a hotel, but it promises to be a great time. And I'm hoping the weather will cooperate too!

I'm also trying to take care of all the odds and ends things necessary for a 2 week jaunt to Iowa in July. Taking the Ex and the GD out to see her daddy and step mother and step brother. So, I'm trying to get the little things done like, Autostop installed in the Jeep; the Freightliner Recall taken care of, etc. And it should be an interesting trip, taking the Ex along! I'll keep ya posted on that one.

Well, leaving Las Cruces . Went into El Paso for a pair of Z-coil shoes for DH and jaunt into Ciudad Juarez for a looksee and lunch. We didn't see any other Americanos the whole time, but lots of military, guns, etc. Because of all the drug killings only the natives go back and forth across the border there now. We did enjoy our marguaritas and lunch.

Leaving for SIlver City, and yups, my flamingo wine glass. Will be there 2 days while Karen is off, so more to report later.

Morning all. Not much going on here in Silver City. Looking forward to presenting Carol with her Flamingo glass - pictures to follow. Its been quiet in the campground after Labor Day. I'm just working then sitting outside, reading, napping. The pool is heated but only to 78 and that's waaaaay too cold for this woose. Days are in the low 80's and nights still in the 50's. We've had a couple of afternoon thunderstorms which really cleans the air and the humidity was 9 yesterday and that's why I'm here and not in Texas. Hope everyone has a great day.

I have a lot of catching up to do on the Forum. I don't go into work until 2.00pm this afternoon, so I'll do some serious reading. I'm slowly collecting photos of the Lodge and area here, so I'll try and get that posted. Barbz, I'm sure you've posted this somewhere, but I was wondering are you doing Therapy after your surgery? We want you up and RUNNING! Carold, you'll enjoy Karen's company. She's always upbeat!

Hi all...

Well I see there is a lot of catching up and so little time. I am home for a short time, getting some laundry done and had to take DS to take his road test..so there an a new fully licensed driver on the roads...one more milestone checked off. They grow up way way too fast.

Camping has been fantastic the weather is "summer" we are going to reach 80 today and that is actually hot for here. Our normal summer high stays around the 75 mark.

The weekend was baseball baseball and more baseball as DS team was in a tournament. They placed 3rd. The semi-final game was a nail biter let me tell you. They do lose 5-6 in the last half of the last inning.

This weekend is busy with the highland games. I will post pictures next week.

Anyway...I got a few more things to do and I want to get back out to the campground..and the pool...to cool off.
