Has everyone/anyone received their stimulus check?

Thanks.

I do mine electronically and they deposited into my account in the first few days. Good luck.

Several reports of not receiving stimulus, but mine was electronically deposited April 15. SS each month and tax refund deposited electronically.

When I checked Get My Payment it said

"We scheduled your check to be mailed on May 04, 2020 to the address we have on file for you"

We shall see. It says mailed so maybe they aren't going to direct deposit it...who knows.

When I went into Get My Payment last Friday, it asked for my bank deposit information which I provided. It didn’t mention a date for the deposit. Seems kind of crazy they asked for bank deposit information since they already have it for depositing my Social Security.

Mine was deposit3d in the first few days right into my bank, where my refunds, SS, retirement, etc all go.

I think the difference is because I did not get refunds from previous tax years. My guess is not getting a refund puts you into a different (delayed) group as to you when you get your stimulus payment - darn! I don’t understand why they can’t use bank info from Social Security.

I have not received mine. I do have direct deposit of SS. I never receive a refund on my taxes, I always owe $$$. Lyn

Hi Lynn.

Thanks for your input. I never receive a refund either - I always seem to owe something.

So I guess that puts us in the same boat.

I did get my stimulus check with my April SS direct deposit. It arrived into my account the same day, which was the third Wednesday of the month.

The weird thing is that I think most of us get social security checks, so why didn't they just send the money out with those checks since the vast majority of seniors get direct deposit for those. I understand they have to check income tax so they can adjust the amount if you make more than the upper amount, but don't the systems talk to one another so they could have used the direct deposit address we use for our social security checks????

Seems incompetent to me.

From what I understand, the computer systems used by the various government entities are very antiquated and who knows whether they can work together. I was happy this morning when I checked the government website and found my stimulus payment will finally be deposited this coming Wednesday - Yay!

I read a similar report abut the government systems being antiquated. I think it was in Illinois they were asking for workers who could do the old technology called i believe Cobal to help with getting unemployment checks out. Health care/hospitals were another that was in tech trouble. It seems as though we have fallen behind in keeping up to date.
