I generally don't post here but am in a chatty mood today. Our weather has suddenly turned into Summer! We will be in the mid 80s for at least another week. I try walking Choco in the AM as when it gets into the upper 70s he overheats quickly. Short snouted dogs are notorious for that. I'm about to close up the house to keep it cool, no air conditioning. It says pretty nice but around 6PM it does get stuffy in here.
Today is the official opening of our new 4.5 mil $$ library which is all paid for thanks to the efforts of The Friends of the Library and a few donating patrons! The Friends have been working hard for many years with lots of fundraisers. I got a chance to tour the new building a week ago as they had a 'soft' opening (non publicised), and I finally got my library card. I hadn't gotten one since moving here in '01. The new library is built in what is called Battle Ground Village. It's a little town within our town. New homes along with lots of little shops and eating places. It's also where our Saturday Farmer's Market moved to. With the grand opening today there will be lots of activities happening so I plan to attend and get a chance to check out some of the new shops and then do the market.
Soos, I had that dizziness because of the ear thing and it's horrible and debilitating. Prayers for a quick healing.

The weatherman only got it half right yesterday; no rain but sky remained gloomy all day. Today is already filled with beautiful sunshine and the weekend outlook is great.
Spent all day Friday with my sister. Even tho she lives relatively nearby, we don't see each other very often. We went out to breakfast and to a yard sale. Remainder of day just visiting at my house.
I've got to get back to work on antiques business. Actually need some ideas to try to drum up some busness; sales have been poor so far this year.

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Sorry I am so late...I've been in and out of the house for hours, between rain and hail and sleet showers, and sunshine. Weird weather today! I was in here really early, but thought I'd wait for Barbzee, if she was planning to post this morning. Hopefully, she's sleeping in today!

I am feeling way less dizzy today. Had a good sleep, too. If the sun comes out long enough, I have a lot to do around here today. I want to trim my dead branches off the trees and haul them to the woods. And I'd like to plant the flowers my daughter gave me for Mother's Day in the rock gardens, after I clear the unwanted vegetation out of those.

It's warm and very humid. Bunnies have been eating my dandelion stems in the lawn---chewing them down like spaghetti. I like them yellow, and they like them flowerless----good deal! Birds are serenading their territories they've staked out for this breeding season. Spring peepers are LOUD at the pond, and I plan to stay down there tonight to get the full benefit of their spring songs. As I am feeling so much better today, so far, I will drive the Kicker (Suzuki Sidekick off-road car) down to the leanto with what I need for a night or two.

I should take a run to the dump with ancient foodstuffs from my cupboards---if I take a load per week for eons, I should have all the useless, too-old stuff out of there to make room for new stuff! But I could put that chore off...the most deplorable of my chores I have on my list!

Later.....from me and Molly----hoping for some sunshine so the bees can work the berry bushes and trees before the blossoms are gone.

(I THINK I solved the disappearing typed lines problem....I went to TOOLS and chose compatibility view. I can see it all now,and no disappearing act! My typing window was hiding my longer messages, and jumping all over the place.)

Up early,... drove to Plattsburgh with buddy Kath to go out to breakfast. Then went to my camper dealership where I "discussed" a rig that is on order,..(by dealer, not me). Hmmmm..... lots of good points and only one bad point. Stay tuned.

Then to Sam's Club, the mall, Petsmart, Walmart,... and home. Unpacked groceries. ( and then took nap! )

Also spent my $250 stimulus money just like I'm "supposed" to,.. ... I bought a Samsung digi camcorder. Hope it works well this coming weekend. Stay tuned on that too!
