Chromebook and printing?

I have been using my Chromebook for the past year or so, but I also have a laptop with Windows that I just use to print things with since that is connected (wifi) to my printer. However, my laptop just bit the dust. I really don't want to buy a new laptop just for printing again but I really haven't figured out a way to print from my Chromebook. I even asked the guy at the PC store and he didn't think there was a way to do that without a special printer.

Do any of you have a Chromebook and/or know of a way to print from it?

Otherwise I will just have to bite the bullet and buy a new Windows laptop.

I asked Dennis because I know he mostly uses his Chrome book. He said that he can just send it to his printer through the WIFI. think the important part is that the the printer has WIFI capability.

Tina, does he have a special printer for that?

I am not very tech savvy. I can just barely figure out how to set up a basic printer and turn it on. I will check that link, Sandi.

Yes Barbara, many new printers today have the special capability of working wirelessly via your wifi router. Should say right on the printer if it's a wifi printer. My sons tiny battery power printer for travel is wifi capable and we have each sent documents to it at times. Works neat but your app has to be there on your device to send.

I have a wireless printer and I have tried to print using it and it has never worked. Not sure why but I am going to check out the youtube link
