Mini Get Together in Quartzsite

I arrived in Q last Friday and took my RV into Solar Bill’s to see what was wrong with my solar system and why it wasn’t charging. It turned out the panel was bad. They don’t know what was wrong with it but exchanged it under warranty. They didn’t have another of the same amperage so they put in two smaller ones that equal the amperage of the faulty one. Everything seems to be working. Will stay a few more days to make sure.

I moved over and parked between Sheila, Sharon and Kerry in La Posa North BLM CG in Q. Went out to dinner with Sharon and Sheila Friday night (Kerry had other plans) and to breakfast this morning with Sharon and Kerry. Sheila was involved with some church activities. Here are a couple pics from this a.m.

I also got to ride with Sharon in her ATV. She’s a crazy woman So much fun! We got close to some old mines.

So fun to meet up with good forum friends and enjoy the beautiful desert.

We will all miss you too in January Liz. I know how much you’re enjoying your new home, but we all sure hope you make it out west again soon. And anyone else who wants to join the Quartzsite GTG in January, please do come and join us for a good time. Lots to do and new friends to meet in addition to connecting with old friends - realizing, of course, “old” is just a relative term.

Sorry Sheila for messing the attendance at our dinner Friday. Don’t know where my mind was when I posted. I’ve corrected it in the original post. So glad I got to see you as much as I did before you leave for Las Vegas.
