SUNDAY WITH CLOUDS AND RAIN

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SUNDAY WITH CLOUDS AND RAIN

Postby Nasoosie » Sun Apr 26, 2009 6:44 am

GOOD MORNING ALL!

I'm back in the trailer this morning, after another decent night at the pond. There were more peepers down there last night, but not enough to record yet. I am hoping for another week of warm temps to wake those babies up! I packed up the stuff that has to come back here, and left a lot down there so I can easily stay there any time I want now. All I need is water and some clothes when I go down.

That Swine flu stuff is scary, especially for Beth and Sparkle who have recently visited Mexico. I guess it's been long enough ago now that you won't get sick, yes? At least I am hoping so.

Coffee is blueberry cobbler flavor today, with French vanilla creamer....like having a dessert for breakfast! C'mon in and tell us about your day.

I'll do a load of laundry today and not much else, although I could wash this trailer if it rains harder later...I'll use the rain and my entendable brush to wash 'er down! Is it Dawn dish soap they advise us to use, on aluminum? I bought a huge thing of it, so am hoping that will work.

Hope your weather is better today than ours is here, but at least we had one wonderful summery day. Catch you later.........

good morning
little nippy this morning but it will warm up nicely, sky is clear and no wind. It
could get windy later though, so we will see. Will do laundry today for sure and
find something else to do to keep me busy.
Have a great day

Good morning all. Its beautiful and sunny here in New Mexico. Have to work today then will probably sit outside and read. Haven't been doing any sightseeing yet - still a little cool and windy. Do go to two of the local cemetaries last week but for some reason my pictures didn't come out. Will go back next week and post. Am still pooped after working only 2 to 3 hours cleaning but at least my back isn't hurting as much. Hope I get in better shape before the busy season gets here. Pool opens mid May and will start swimming. Keep checking the humidity in Kerrville and here - and being SOOOOOO happy I'm here and not there. I'm getting lots of hummingbirds at the feeder. I had forgotten what little glutons they are. I'd better get dressed - hope you all have a great day.

Moving slower this morning, I actually straighten part of the house yesterday. May have some friends over to help socialize the wee ones. They need handling and to get used to peoples voices other than my own. My new project starts on Wed so I have several days to invest in pups, dogs, hiking, reading, etc...... I am sorry to miss the English Cocker Nationals being held up east of Cleveland, OH, this week. If I don't get offered work hours on Sat I may still convince myself to drive up for the afternoon and evening and come back Sun. The pups need to see their "other mother" - Blondie's co-owner. The weather is de-lightful and the big dogs are enjoying it. I may bring the x-pens out this afternoon and let the little ones gamble about on the patio for a few minutes. I keep a screen above them.....I have seen too many hawks in the trees that line the fence line. Hope everyone finds something wonderous in today! May your journeys be full of positive and expanding adventures.

GOOOOOD Morning Sistahs!!!!

Coffee is hitting the spot this morning for sure! It got down right nippy last night. And this morning when I took Shade out to P, not only was I dressed but wrapped one of my this wool blankets around me. Brrrrrr We are in a camping cabin at a KOA Kampground in Santa Fe NM. We checked a couple of others out and the tent sites were really crappy. Gravel, brush and not much room at all. So here we are with electric, beds, my coffee pot and a small heater in the wall. ??? No A/C unit tho??? I know it's got to get warm enough for A/C here? Ya sure do see the units on houses, the office for the campground has an A/C unit, so where is ours if we were to need it??? Hmmmmm? Kelly just grouped up her stuff and is off to take a shower. Hope she makes out OK??? I sure don't remember seeing anything that resembled a heater in that bathroom. And the temp right now is suppose to be 48f, with the wind? Weather Channel online said felt like 46f, I think they are full of it too.

Peeked back outside a little bit ago and while the wind is still blowing the sky is a beatuiful blue with abundant sunshine of course. Sure have missed keeping up with ya'll but it's really hard to be reading and posting while driving.

As soon as Kelly is out of the shower I guess we will go into town and look around. We drove into town last night looking for somewhere to eat dinner but while the downtown area was to drool over it was all touristy type restaurants and cafes. To rich for our blood. But we want to go back just to window shop. One place had a bunch of Indian blankets that I could go nuts over but I'm not gonna do it. One place made me think of Sparkle as it was selling cow skulls. Didn't see any Flamingos tho.

Ok gonna get off here it's time to run to the bathroom, the coffee is working.

Hope everyone has a super great day and be sure to stay safe.

Love to all

Morning gals! Did I hear an echo?!? No, it's our ECHO! So glad
you checked in, Santa Fe sounds lovely, hope you have fun!

Beautiful here. A friend and I had a picnic yesterday evening
at local lake. The fragrence of the lupine was heavenly. Also
saw a bald eagle.

All good here. No big projects for me this morning will save
energy for big dinner later. Have a fun day!
