Martha - Thank you for your thoughtfulness! I see now what you are talking about and that helps! Now i just have to find someone to do it. That would make it so much easier! I don't want to be on my knees with a flashlight trying to find the stems. By the way, I am in Western NC. We are going to have to meet up as i know that there is a lot for me to learn yet. I admire you experienced do it yourself ladies. I am a home do it your selfer and want to do it myself in the rv as well.

I bought a pair of the ones from Amazon and they are with the other stuff I had shipped to my cousin's house. Next step is to find a truck tire place to put them on.

I bought new tires in September in Michigan and could not find any valve extenders to replace the ones that were no good anymore. I also tried in Camping World here in Florida, and they suggested I order them online.

I finally found a place in Asheville, from a recommendation from an RV park there. They do trucks, ambulances and rvs. So I checked their reviews and they are good. They have everything that I need so sounds good. Hopefully this will be something else that i can cross off of my list. I ordered a TPMS system on Amazon and it will be here soon. Better safe than sorry. I am so glad that i have you all to bounce things off of. Your help is greatly appreciated. i need an emoticon with a blindfold on
I did do a dumb thing. While I was on the roof caulking around the fans, I turned around and hit my elbow on the air conditioner cover and it cracked about 8 inches. :( It is brittle. Couldn't tell by looking at it. So I caulked it too for now with Dicor and will put it on the list. We got a lot of that heavy rain last night and everything is OK, so that can wait for a little while. Onward and upwarddddddddddddddddd.

My a.c. cover on my old rig lasted a few years by caulking cracks. Just keep an eye on it.

How in the heck did you get on the roof. There isn't much room up there. I got a vinyl cover for my air conditioner but was afraid to climb high enough to get it on. I have a problem with mud daubers getting in there in the summer because it is under a roof.

I will keep an eye on the ac unit. I got on the roof with a ladder. It was a little scary but i was VERY careful. I used Meguirs antioxidant, gel coat creme and then gave everything a good caranuba wax. I wanted to get that done before I leave as I want it to look as nice as possible and protect it. When I leave I won't have a ladder and everything I need to clean it up. I won't be up there again as it is slick now. It does look much better now. Now all I need to do is quit working so hard, spending money and get out there! :)
