Let's get together!

Ok, I have a question.
I'm going to be in a motor home, me and friend Bill, boondocking
out there where us girls were before. Is that where? and do I need
to reserve or just be there and park amongst ya'll? When I was there
before I just had my car and parked by you guys. And I don't remember
what it cost me. So, y'all will meet my friend Bill, but he's wanting
to know these details and I have to be able to tell him. Please and
thank you. Its a 32' Winnebago, older one.

It is a Hugh vacant lot!!! Just come on in and park wherever your heart desires. I am not sure about the charges if you are going to stay less than two weeks. Sheila, do you know? Lyn

I think minimum is $40 for 2 weeks. There are no daily rates.

And I'll be coming in most likely Tuesday afternoon the 24th and leaving Fri or Sat. I might, however, spend one night with a dog group I'm part of. Since I'm not going to bring my car, that'll be either the first or last night.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Ava, $40 is the deal for two weeks or under, as Anita posted. And, as said, we just spread out in the area surrounding where Sheila and a few others winter.

take the first exit for Q go to the left (Riggles) past the Mormon church turn right at the stop sign
go to the stop light turn left and then turn left at the road (not exit from rv park) the check in hut is
right there then follow the asphalt road through the wash just past the group that has a sign out Karaoke Thurs night
turn right see the sign that says Boyd teddy bear and cardinal as well as a yellow sign that says road to no where? look down at the ground don't go past the dumpsters
follow the road through another wash wanna be another sign think it's just a arrow....keep following the road
you will come to a larger bear and cardinal sign and Road to No Where Pop ? Middle Ave If I understood how to post pictures

I am trying to figure out the best days for me to be there. I am thinking the 19th thru the 22nd. That should be when most of you are there. Can't wait!

Not a happy camper tonight!

When I started this job, I put in a written request for the 19th thru the 21st off for Q. The other day I mentioned it to the former manager and she said my request probably got tossed out when the other manager took over. I quickly put in another request that day. Too late, the schedule for next week and the following week are already done and, no, the new manager knew nothing about my request from before. So I am scheduled every day from the 18th thru the 22nd! I told her I had plans to see friends during that time and reminded her that I have come in early, stayed late, worked on my days off, etc. She said she would see what she can do to at least get me a couple days off together during that time frame.

I do have the 16th and 17th off but not sure who will be out there yet. Besides you gals, I have a good friend from MN who will be there the 19th thru the 21st who I haven't seen for quite awhile and would hate to miss her too.

I will be SO disappointed if I can't go! Hopefully, she can pull some strings and get me that weekend off! Should know in a day or two one way or the other!

I hope you get your days off Barbie. I've finalized my plans and will arrive in Q this Sunday, Jan. 15. I'm currently in Casa Grande and will spend 2 days in Salome before Q. Looking forward to seeing everyone whenever you arrive. My plan right now is to stay in Q until Sunday, Jan. 29.

I'm already dreaming about your Indian fry bread ("scones" as you call them Sheila). My cooking skills have diminished so much from a standard that already wasn't the greatest. So I can't wait for your specialty.

Hello all Q gtgers!

Oh how I wish I could be there! Always so much fun & I just love the desert:) And this will be the second year I won't see you, Sheila, but I'm so happy you'll be back in your usual place! Last year was just not the same without you!!!!

SPECIAL REQUEST! I have a Trek friend who would like to meet up with y'all. She actually did an introduction on our forum in July '16, but then had trouble getting back on to post. Beth, think you straightened this out for her, but she's still not able to get logged in. Could be she has forgotten her password, but she's not sure.

Anyway, she is Linda Mac, & I'll send her contact info via PM here on the forum to some of you, also to some of you for whom I have personal contact info. She started full-timing last year, & this is her first time in Q. I know you'll be your usual welcoming selves & show her the ropes of Q camping:)

Thanks all! Again, will really miss you :(
