We continue to have a great time! Yesterday we went to Anna Maria Island - an hour's ride from here. I intended to post photos here but was taking too long so here is to FB - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 100506ce49 I didn't include any of the people photos on there planning to put them here. :(

CArol rode with me in the SS. She and I had the joy of a few raindrops. :) Soos went swimming - I got my feet wet. We had lunch at a great place - combo eatery, bakery, gift shop.

Having a campfire each night - seems the mosquitoes are getting a little more aggressive - and a lot of great conversation with laughs. Looking forward to the full moon and the eclipse tonight - maybe the comet.

Sorry you all aren't here!

[color=#0000FF]Been wonderful here at Hardee Lakes - good weather, great friends and a full moon. Other than weekends, we pretty much have the park to ourselves.
Last saturday Dave was scheduled to give a dutch oven cooking demo for the park. He was too sick to do it so Vicki jumped in as sub

Yesterday Soos and I were up at daylight for a trip to small strawberry field to pick berries. The little patch is only about 20 rows that are about 150' long. Pickers are assigned a row when they arrive. These are some of the best berries ever; discovered it last year and knew we had to have more. My haul drying in the sun (they were dripping wet from dew when picked)

Think everyone has had a ride in Anita's Slingshot. Soos and I posing for photo (no Anita did not let Soos drive)

We've enjoyed a campfire every night and were treated one evening to a herd of deer wandering in to CG to graze in field between our RVs and the lake. No photo - too dark./color]
