That's how I found out they wanted $20 more Mitch. Considering you can only pay full amount on Reserve America, and I have a confirmation email with $0 due, I'm a bit peeved.

I'm going to have to call the 800 number because I can't find the original posting again about the increase, probably because it's already after the effective date. If I get nowhere, oh well, or I may fight it with the credit card company, but think that may just be more aggravation.

Sure doesn't seem legal to raise the price AFTER the fact and having a receipt that shows a zero balance.

I just went looking for a possible explanation.
Might this be true for you, since your reservation is over the holiday weekend?
I still don't see how this could happen if it was not in effect when you made your reservation.

Holiday Weekends:
Two night (Fri/Sat) minimum stay is required during Memorial Day, Independence Day (when July 4th falls on a Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon) and Labor Day weekends. There is a fee increase during those holiday weekends. Fees will adjust in the Cart prior to checkout.

Yep Mitch, the girl on the 800 number said it's because I'm there on holiday weekend. she said I should have received an email (I didn't) about the billing. My mind just went to increased fees (which are in effect), but not the reason for my extra $20 bill.

Although over time I have mostly learned to not volunteer, I would like to volunteer to make a big pot o' Sloppy Joes for late lunch/early dinner one afternoon, if anyone is interested?

Well that's right nice of ya Mitch (thanks for the clarification on the poison ). I'm mostly a 'whatever I find that's easy' eater, so whatever the others want to do is OK with me.

Yes, we are at 4 (unless lurkers are coming and didn't let us know . I can bring chips, plates, utensils, or whatever you need.

I wasn't going to make them since there was no interest, but I went ahead and made a batch this morning...package is in the freezer now. Didn't chop the onions fine enough - my head was elsewhere. But they're still good and I'll get a couple tubes of those nasty potato chips, glass o' wine, and we'll call it dinner.

I'm excited to meet two new friends and one old one.

I could be talked into zipping again. $85 for 3 hours doesn't seem too bad but the suspension bridges could be iffy for me, but I did one on the last zip I did.

I'd like to go horseback riding too if anyone is interested. Out of shape and haven't ridden in quite a while, but who cares!? Everything can depend on which way the wind blows on any given day.

BJ - you bringing Mitzi? Curious to see if Mitzi & Zorro remember each other.
