Traveling Castle

My son sent me this link, since I've been droning on for weeks about all the things I'm doing to Kit. :D

It's a New Zealand couple who built their own truck house, and it's an amazing blend of technology and fantasy. And, oh, the woodwork, the woodwork!

I wonder how much that thing weighs tho. Looks like it would be quite heavy.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Yes, yes, yes......but I wouldn't want to go sightseeing/traveling in it where I would have to set up and take down often. :)

No overnights in Walmart parking lot, that's for sure.

Not a real traveling rig, but so very clever . . . and, again, the woodwork! I'm going to have a great countertop in Kit next year when we take down a maple tree that's disrupting the septic system -- cut to my specs with a live edge. The kid is teasing me because I've been calling Kit 'the winter palace' lately.
