Chilly Wednesday morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Chilly Wednesday morning

Good Morning from the Frosty 45th,

Yes, you read that right. It is frosty here. Thanks to this recent blast of cold air, not only do I have frost in my yard, but we also had snow showers yesterday afternoon  And my one apple tree is in peak blossom right now, so probably won't have apples this year. Actually this cold is going to affect a lot of things. It's one reason I never plant flowers before Memorial Day.

Jane, forgot to mention, that if you measure your drawers, you can get silverware trays at dollar stores and Wal Marts. Couple more days and off you go. Will be waiting to hear how your trip turns out. Cheryl should be reporting pretty soon as she planned to be home by this weekend. Ginger, hope you feel better today. Barb, new trailer? I missed something someplace?

Looks like today will be a yard work day. Want to get this place in order before I leave. Weeding, whipping and mowing once things dry up. Had an interesting note from my financial advisors office. Asked if I could stop by, as they want to hand me something for my trip ??? So wil run up there too.

Best to get this day in motion. You all have a nice day today :D

Morning gals,
Sue I think the early bird tries to catch up with YOU! You always seem to open MC.

Jane I don't have very large or deep drawers in AG and I just happened to find a cutlery tray that I had laying around (had bought it for my house and never used it ) that fits perfectly in the drawer in AG and even functions as a sliding drawer giving me room underneath it for longer/larger items. In Pony (my truck camper) I just used those containers you get for desk drawers. They are separate little rectangular or square plastic trays that can be hooked together. Don't remember where I got them but I'll bet Wally world has 'em or Office Max.

AG goes back to the mechanic today to get her trans cooler attached. DH said he could probably do it but he's always so busy I don't want to ask him then have to wait til he has time.

Picked up my new reading glasses from Meijer on Monday and just can't get used to them. Oh the prescription's no problem, I can read fine with them, but I can't wear the frames. They hurt my nose and the edges of the lenses distort everything so badly whenever I move my head that I get dizzy. I have tried to wear them everyday but just can't get used to them. Guess they'll be going back. Sure hope my distance glasses aren't this much of a problem. They are still on order.

Found a place where I can get Cody's new medicine for under $60 a month so I emailed her vet to send them a script. Hopefully we will see some results soon.

Have to go, a friend is picking me up from dropping AG off and her window of opportunity is pretty small so I better get over there and back home while she has time to drive me.

Have a wonderful day everyone and be safe
Kathy

p.s. would someone please come and help finish up these humungous blueberry muffins?
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Good Morning, Chilly here too but only in the low 50's. Sorry about your apple tree, maybe some of the blossoms will make it Sue. After many, many unsuccessful attempts of our dogs through the years team Toby and Mitzi finally caught a squirrel :o  Toby finished it off by shaking it like a terrier would. He and Mitzi race out the door every time it is opened and the squirrels and chipmunks scatter, guess persistence does pay off sooner or later. Mitzi was rather taken aback and watched from the sidelines.
Last day of the yoga class I have been teaching, they all seem to want to continue so will probably start up again in the fall unless I can move the time to early morning. Also I have a 12 year old coming for hypnosis for fear of bees and other flying insects. This will be a first both for working with a phobia and someone this age.
Looks like we are in for more rain, the yard needs mowing weekly but it does look pretty. I love, love love my new Sienna, so much easier to drive and plus I don't feel every bump like in that Subaru. I still need to go back and learn how to use all the gadgets, hopefully can do that tomorrow as it is supposed to be another cool day in the sixties :) :)

Mornin' ladies---just a quick hello from South Central llinois. Drive was about 6 hours with stopping for gas and taking Zorro for a walk to stretch our legs. Survived two nights so far didn't blow up anything, flood anything or a shock anything. So far so good. Full hookups are awesome!!!

My backing up is still horrible Mick from two sites down helped back it in for me. of course I pick the one and only site that has a culvert/ ditch running under the drive backing in so instead of going off the side he just backed it in for me thank you Mick! After the long drive I was more than willing to have someone help. I see more backing up practice needed. Only 3 other campers here for now in a loop 30 or so, so it's nice and quiet all the other sites are reserved with people coming in on the 21st for the holiday weekend

BJ, I saw your note the other day about anyone coming to your area for a gtg, guess you didn't get my PM before I left oh well maybe next time. I'm about an hour north of you.

Drizzly day today so I think I'll take an hour drive and go to Cahokia Mounds I've been wanting to go there for the last 4 years go get some history in my brain.

have a good day everyone and if you're on the road stay safe.
Cheryl

Woo hoo good news, mechanic called to say AG already has trans cooler + oil cooler too! Saved me a bunch of money! Now why didn't DH and I see it while we were looking underneath?
