WE'RE HERE!!!! Looooong drive on back roads. Apparently my Garmin has no damn clue where Victoria is located - kept trying to turn me around towards San Antonio. I shut the bitch off. Turned it back on after Victoria and it figured out where I was going. Met up with Birdie (Nancy) at Three Rivers and we caravaned to Pt. Lavaca. When we arrived Sparkle came over and I gave both Nancy and Sparkle their Flamingo glasses and we all has some wine, of course. Early to bed - pooped.
You must be thinking of another Beth, Sparkle. I'll do many many things I probably shouldn't - but topless - even for a second - not gonna happen in public. Hmmmmmmmm - let's not go there about what might or might not happen in private LOL

Oh, this is a "wild" bunch.... Can't wait for this story and the photos..... All kidding aside....you all have a great time... I'll be thinking of ya'.....
Okay ladies here are some pictures. There's Carole (in red) me on the camera, Sparkle and Birdie. Great weather. I would definitely stay on the beach next time rather than the park we're in. Rigs way too close together. If we wanted to sit outside we would be almost on top of our neighbor's sewer hose.
We drove into old Port Lavaca; browsed a few antique stores and had lunch. Don't you love the "Bubba" bait shop? We came back and sat around on the beach drinking wine and feeding the gulls. I had forgotten how it felt to have sand in your toes and rig. I've swept the rig constantly since we got here.
Great pics. I started to sweep my rig and vacuum today- thought nah - will wait till I get back from the beach LOL
So glad you're all having fun. Will see you tomorrow night if all goes well. Sparkle, I'll call you when I know I'm leaving.

great pictures, all of them, gonna take that big ship and put it in my puzzle program, and maybe the gulls too, although I think that one would be for a day I feel up to a real challenge. Wish I could be there too, feeling that tide lapping at my ankles and smelling the ocean air. Some day, it will happen.
I love the picture of the flying gulls. Somebody (I forget who) will be making a puzzle out of that one. Like the others, wish I was there! Did you go inside Bubba's Bait Shop? How about a picture of Bubba?
