It's Thirst Day...gets even better...bet they were sitting around the table when they came up with these Days of the Week names..whatcha think ? Wait till you hear my reason for the next day LOL I get better as I go along...

Yes, now I understand also why I came up with this picture for this morning..cause I was thinking thirsty and needs a glass to pour some water in..and once I got that..I stuck a few flowers in..hahahahaha..yeah sounds good to me...Lizzie you following my drift ??????

Cedar's school varsity won and now she'll be traveling ..Happy to hear that good news..and hey like that name Eagles..wish our Eagles would do as well..this coming season...

Echo has reached her destination...Elmira...You know Echo I for years would go there to a dog show..having to cross that bridge in Scranton on the Pa Turnpike...yucko..and then on the way back having a huge snow storm...oooooh those were the days...my memory of Elmira..hahahaha.. Have fun with your family and friends and do tell us all about it...

RV Granny (Lori and Ernie) have made it to Cedar Key..You two sure do make good time..and when I chatted with her she told me how she and Ernie did try to find Sparky's beach... and got those great directions from Sparky too..... it's out there some where honestly LOL...next time Lori...Google it..

Haven't heard from Fernie..but am hoping that everything is going as planned for her...Keep us posted Fernie ..

The GTG in Texas is coming together nicely..and that will be a group to watch...RetiredHappy..(Karen) Flamingo glasses ????? we all are anxious to check them out..take a picture for us..maybe I can use it in one of my pictures LOL..

Ok, Sista's it's that time and most of you are huddled somewhere..so it's time for that Kitchen to start making some noise.. Iffn' I forgot cha..have no fear, I'll catch up with ya..may even join ya..just never know...

Coffee Pot is on and beginning to Perk..Kettle is rockin ..and I hear that train a coming..(referring to the Whistle just in case you might wonder) and a big pitcher of Mamosa's...sounds yummy to me..(did I spell that right)... We use to make them up on holidays..with a big breakfast..now I'm getting hungry..
Apple Strudel is on the menu this morning..and oh I have Scones.. have some pumpkin muffins too..ooh I'm really hungry.. gonna have to make a frittata for sure..Come on have a seat at this big table ..and do let's hear how your day is gonna go..and where you're heading...

Good frigid morning from the north country at -5 F. again. Our warm-up is scheduled to begin today, but I just hope it's not too fast and too furious as to turn this driveway into a quagmire just yet!

I hope the girls in TX are having a fun GTG, and I sure do wish I could join you all. Perhaps in two years I'll be there!

Thanks for the coffee, Barb----so good to see you up and about again. Running a bit late this morning, with tons to do before I go out the door, so I will just wish you all a fun day, and keep those pictures coming so we can share the fun!!

Good morning !! I am grabbing a cup of coffee. My flight from Dallas to Nashville was cancelled Tues. so they routed me through Chicago---real bummer. Added 3 hours to my flight. I had a busy day yesterday and have another one today. I take my car in a couple hours for a tune-up then I will work at home.The mechanic is only a couple miles from me and he will run me home. If I can get done what has to be done, I will probably leave Friday afternoon for Texas and drive for a few hours. My younger brother wants me to go to the country music opry in Wiley Sat. night. He will probably head for Illinois Sunday afternoon. Mary's surgeon who is dressing her foot every week thinks he can start fitting her for a special shoe in about 3 weeks. That will help her walking and may allow her to drive. He wasn't happy with home health and wanted to dress the foot himself.
He is happy with the way her foot is looking but any infection would probably mean she would lose the foot. I will be in Texas till some time around the middle of April and then I will just fly back to Az. and get ready for the trip back to Tn. the end of the month.

Temps are 10 grees above normal today---high to be 66. That is great!!!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Ohhhhh! I got up at 5:20 this morning for a potty run, down the stairs I came. Laura was in the shower so I check with her and did my thing. Then I let the dogs out. Brrrrrrr I have no idea what the temp is out there but it was freaking cold in her back porch when I let the dogs out to P. All I had on was my sneakers, sweatshirt and panties. Now what ya would call clothes for the cold temps. She's off to work so here I am. Still don't have jammy bottoms on! LOL I am eyeballing the recliner in the living room. I think I will go in and check it out for a little bit. I'm still tired but don't dare lay down. If'in I do I will probably go out for a few more hours. ??? That might not be a bad thing tho. Let our other friends know we are in town so they are excited. We are gonna go see them today. When we leave their house we will go see my oldest brother. Tomorrow we will go see my other brother. That will take care of the visits. Not sure if we are gonna leave out Saturday night or not??? Probably will as that will give us time to slow down and just relax on Sunday.

Good grief Fernie!!! Don't you ever slow down! Whew, makes me tired reading just trying to keep up with her.

I think I am gonna grab some of that strudel and have a small snack then crash for a little bit.

Well, I've got springtime azaleas soaking up the agua on my table this Thirst day morning. Meanwhile I'm still anchored here in the stick house 'til that room is finished....given up on predicting when that might be. I'm really anxious to make my get-away in the rv now that it's back from the shop. My brother and SIL plan on sailing in Sunday eve and stay through to Wed. Got a list of things for him to help me do, but gotta get the dust evacuated from the rest of the house before they get here. So, time to get out of the doldrums and start rowing.

Happy Thursday to all,..... only one more day to go for the weekend. Yes, Zeee, I'm on the road both Friday and Saturday for more games.

After the warming temps hit this weekend i'll be ready to shovel out a path to the camper and start thinking about hitting the road for weekends. Can't wait!

I'm doing ok,I had a very large lipoma (sort of like those lumps old dogs get!) removed from my right buttock on Monday. OUCH I can only be in a prone position or standing for probably another week so it's hard to type. Other people go to plastic surgeons and get new or better parts, I come out with a lopsided bottom. I really wanted to go to Texas but, not possible now. Maybe later

As to Sparkle's hideout in FL, I can attest to it being right where she gave directions to - as I followed them there a year ago this time. But you really have to watch where to turn-off -is very, very easy to miss. (I did the first time past - but was persistent and turned around and found it).
