Backup Camera

Backup Camera

Postby DebTech » Tue May 27, 2014 12:21 pm

My 2014 Jayco Redhawk has a backup camera mounted in the rear-view mirror. Right now the camera is only on when the RV is in reverse. Is there an easy way to modify this camera so it will stay on while I am driving or is it just designed to be a backup camera. When I start towing a car I would like to keep an eye on it.

You need to find the manual for the camera. It should be in that. i've never seen one on a rearview mirror before so can't help you. sorry...

Mine is on the rear view mirror and is set to be on all the time. But I don't know how...like Sharon said, look for the manual.

Mine has a button to push to turn, if I am not in reverse (that is automatic). I have to push the button each time the engine is restarted after a stop. Hope you find what you need to know.
Off we go....
