You ask what is counterstirring. This is not to be applied at slow speed like a crawling speed (which by the way is the most difficult, but do-able with practice)
To countersteer is exactly that. To steer in the opposite direction of your turn, try it and you'll wonder how come you did'nt realize this before. You should be travelling at a reasonable speed like about 30mph or more and for sharp turns in town/cities to lean into your turn will make it easier and smoother.
I know countersteering sounds scary but your instructor should be telling you about this as it makes for much easier maneuvering ( I think there's an o in that last word, but do'nt know where it goes) ha ha
