I can't wait until we can go get the trailer. It will be a high speed trip. I had still planned to do the Farmers Market this year. On the way to Yuma we'll stay at motels but on the way home use the Micro so I'll have to pack minimal supplies to use on the trip back. I sure hope campgrounds will be open by then. I can't wait to be on the road more often. John will be fully retired by the end of August and then time is ours!!

Barbie, I forgot to say we have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It can tow up to 5000 lbs, but the micro is 3200. We won't fill the water tank while traveling. We can travel pretty lite. Well I usually have a box of books and at least 4-5 knitting or embroidering projects along just in case we have a rainy day and when it gets dark. Have to have more than one as I might get bored with the one I'm working on. I can really get lots stuffed into my crafting case. I have a hunch John will start looking for a pickup.

What a fun little trailer! :)

You might want to have the tires checked out before hitting the road. Arizona sun isn't kind to them, and if they're older you might think about getting them replaced.

Enjoy!

That is very similar to the one I was looking at but yours has the door between the bed and kitchen and the one I saw, the door was in the back behind the kitchen. Love that layout tho with the slide! That will be so nice for you two to travel in!
I sure wish I had the money to get the one I was looking at! :(

Nice! You're going to love the amenities! Our first two TT didn't have a separate bed....I was so happy when I didn't have to fight turning a sofa and a dinette into beds every night! And I could actually wake up in the morning before everyone else and have coffee sitting at the table!

And don't forget that there's a big community of vintage trailer enthusiasts just dying to buy your Shasta! I belong to another forum where you will find Shasta lovers, and there's a Facebook page specifically for advertising vintage trailers! :)

One of my dad's neighbors has two vintage trailers in their yard. I should take a picture of them when I go there tomorrow.
