Maybe most of you are already acquainted with this organization but I was not. Louise told me about it at the recent FL gtg. She has been pleased with the places she has visited so far.

A little info
"Programs that allow RVers to meet winemakers and farmers, learn about their craft and spend the night on their properties have been popular in Europe for over 20 years, but nothing like them existed in North America.

Harest Host LogoSo in 2009 we created Harvest Hosts, starting initially with three states and 32 winery and farm Hosts. Since then the program has grown to include 470 Hosts in 49 US States, 9 Canadian Provinces and Mexico’s Baja CA.

WineFun properties to visit now include wineries, vineyards, vegetable farms, berry patches, fruit orchards, lavender farms, alpaca ranches, sugar houses, cider mills, dairy farms, animal rescue facilities, historical properties, museums and much more.

You can meet the property owners and managers, learn about winemaking, farming or alpaca ranching and support small businesses by purchasing wines, fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses and more or learn interesting history by taking a tour of a dinosaur museum, a historic property or an aviation museum.

Harvest Hosts is a membership program that offers online access to all the Host properties, photos, interactive maps, an easy Host search and much more. We’ll provide you with locations, contact information, GPS coordinates and hours of operation. We’ll also tell you what size RVs can be accommodated at each location and provide you with a list of activities offered.
."
Cost is $40.00 per year total.

The winery Keel and Curley is a member (central FL). Louise logged into her account while we were at the Hillsborough River GTG and showed us all the sites in FL and GA. It was very interesting. If anyone decides to join, you might want to PM Louise (Roadweaver) first. If you give her name as a referral, I think Harvest Host adds time to her membership. Not sure, but she can explain.
