Yup, took me a double take too..thought you were someone new-cute doo ;) My hair has gotten way too long for me and I need to get it cut, but DH would shoot me if I ever cut it off that much. I use to have pixie cuts all the time as a little girl. They are so easy to take care of..just wash and go. I heard if you put lemon juice in your hair (after shampooing and while still damp), when you go out in the sun it'll act as a lightening agent as well. Don't know that I'd want to try it, but ???? Elvis is going to think he's got a new sweetie croonin over him. :P :D Better watch out! ;)

WOW! I thought we had an impostor. Be careful the first few times you get in the sun as your scalp and neck may burn. Looks great on you and know it will be easy to care for on your travels.

I've always worn my hair fairly long. Don't think I could go quite that short but it is about time for my hair cut (once every 3 to 4 years). I donate it to Locks of Love and would encourage any of you contemplating cutting at least 10 inches off your tresses to do the same.

(Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.)

About twenty years ago when I first started wearing my hair very short, someone asked my DH what he thought of my hair "that" short! His response, which was delivered with a straight face, "It's not like she asked my opinion." I learned a long time ago. If you want someone's option, ask. Don't ask, if you only want someone to agree with you, and you plan on doing it anyway :)

Nice hair, by the way....and easy to keep up with the RV life. If I want to spend time grooming something, I'll spend it with one of the dogs, not on me!
