Good Sunday Morning...Christmas is Coming...

Good Sunday morning, all....and yes, Christmas is coming....we're ready here...

Sure is warm right now...at 7am....67F.... but it's still dark so can't tell you yet if it's going to be cloudy or sunny....if the "nats" stay away, may take my coffee outside after walking Spinner.... I love doing that....

Am almost finished with the Counted cross-stitch of Ernie's Mom portrait.....will take a photo when I'm finished....and share it with ya'...

Okay, coffee is ready, and the Pecan/Carmel sweet rolls will soon be out of the oven....Help yourselves....

Good morning and all...another beautiful if not warm day here in Melbourne
I will be headed back to dads today...just spent one night here at Wickham
CG...was a nice relaxing day ...that is until we were walking back from the
dog park...I did make a post about it this morning..check it out if you want...

Good Morning to All - Watching the sun come up over the water - so pretty. And no rain or clouds in sight for today. Hopefully today we get our Jeep back from the mechanic and if we do tomorrow morning bright and early we'll head out for Mazatlan - that's an all day drive. But there will be RIBS at the end of it.
Yesterday there was a wedding here at the restaurant in the campground and we got invited to join it. Such great people and so friendly. Had a ball.
At home in Indiana I was reading about all the flooding around our little town. Several streets are closed and several accidents. So glad our house is way up on the hills.
Stay safe, dry and warm everyone in the nasty weather. Enjoy the season with friends and family.

Not going out for a while here in the Palm of the Mitten (Michigan). Even the twigs have icicles after sleet and freezing rain last night!



If the sun comes out from the clouds before this melts, it will be magical!

Good Morning and yes Christmas is almost here… I have gotten several great e-mails with singing and other music… Such a great time of the year… And so nice that many are taking their time to send greetings…
I have been watching my friend Mollys cats these last two days… They are so sweet but I know they miss their mommy… Shadow does not know what to think when I got up and got dressed so early! He knows I drink my coffee and read the posts before I get dressed… Oh and he got afraid of a gnat last night… he got out of bed and slept in the drivers seat… silly dog does not like bugs… he always looks everywhere when he gets on the bed…
I do so miss church services this year… before there was a couple that held Sunday services and also a Bible study on Thursday but not this year… I also see they have their mobile home for sale…
I found water under the cabover bed so will have to take everything down and see what is going on… I will be asking my friend to help as it is very awkward getting things down… glad the mattress has a plastic back!
It is very quiet in the park this morning… take care everyone and drive careful… today Irmi and Steve hit the road for warmer places…

We got the rain here too, about 4-5 inches yesterday but thankful no ice! Brrrr stay in and safe up there in Michigan, I don't blame you for not going out. One of the walls in our basement is very wet, just can't convince DH we need to do landscaping along that side of the house. When the whole wall has to be replaced I definitely will remind him that I warned him. With all the rain several roads were closed and at a nearby town, cars in the Walmart parking lot were stranded in high water.
I made biscuits and gravy this morning, yum. Well Pillsbury helped with the biscuits. I'm saving one of Lori's Carmel/pecan rolls for later.

Good morning all,

In the 20's here with about 2" of snow at my house. Little layer of ice beneath but thankfully it's Sunday & msot folks will stay off the roads.
I've already shoveled & salted the driveway, gone to Mass & picked up more salt at Walmart. Ready to settle in & continue to perfect a cookie recipe that I've been working on for a while.

Hope everyone is safe with all the rain & snow headed up north & east.

I'm loving the pics of the Baja adventure. Once a few of the rest of us retire, we might have to plan following in their footsteps.
