Carol, I love the idea of tossing your bro in the Harbor so you can hit the road!

That could be taken very wrong by someone who doesn't know that "Harbor" is the name of your RV

The last time I was at Pea Soup Anderson's (3 years ago) I was so surprised at how much bigger it was from the first time I was there (27 years ago). Very much a touristy place now. There was one in Carlsbad but it went out of business a few years ago. Solvang is a fun little Danish town with lots of fun little shops and great bakeries! Very unique! The rolling hills and horse farms are beautiful! Lake Casitas is pretty just outside of there. Santa Barbara is a favorite of mine (lived there 27 years ago) with a very nice downtown area. Love the beaches there too! The Botanical Gardens are very nice and just down the road from the famous Santa Barbara Mission. On Sundays, there is an art fair along East Beach.

Not feeling too good tonight. Got hit with intestinal cramps just before I left work. Must be from something I ate earlier. Took some Pepto but still feeling crampy and nauseous :( Hope that goes away soon so I can get some sleep tonight. Have to be at work early tomorrow.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Kathleen, I'm so happy that your daughter is speaking again and that you'll be back in FL this winter ... and I'm jealous that you'll be with Molly. I know I'll be having fun watching Mitch and Pedro ... but sure would love to see you and Molly also!

Another gorgeous SoCal day here! Sun is shining, sky is blue and right at this moment life is good. Had a wonderful 24 hours in Desert Hot Springs at the Miracle Spring Spa and Hotel. Beautiful place, lots and lots of pools all different temps, room opened right onto pool area. I had a massage and a seaweed wrap, both were wonderful, altho I wouldn't recommend the wrap if tight things make you nervous. You're wrapped up like a mummy for 20 minutes. I had to have her put my right arm out where I could move it.

Family BBQ today over at the daughters house, tri tip and a friend that fishes in the ocean a lot is bringing fish and lobster. I'm bringing broccoli salad and garlic bread, that's what the DD asked me to bring. Knowing them there'll probably be a chicken or two in the smoker, too. We sure never go hungry over there. :D

Got a new toy, I'm hoping I'll be back in time to take it for a spin. I've had it since Wed and haven't ridden it yet. Yamaha V-star 250, just a baby bike to putt around on. Looks like a miniature Harley RK. Sounds like a sewing machine so I'm probably going to rip the guts out of the pipes! LOL!

Hope everyone has a great day today!

Hi Karen

I sent you a PM but if you don't get it, I live in Arroyo Grande (just north of Santa Maria and right next to Pismo). Will you be in Lompoc through spring? If so the fields of flowers will be showing their colors - pretty neat. Enjoy your time. Lots of wineries in this whole area if you are into wine. Lots of RV CGs too.
