Wednesday and I'm home!!!

Good Morning All, This is the first time I've been able to begin the MC!!!!! I returned home to San Diego late yesterday afternoon after a 38 day trip in the Cosy Camper. Visited lots of friends during the travels and attended one GTG in Oregon!!!
Drove 2348 miles. Spent lots of $$$ on gasoline. Had a great time and I love driving the truck.
Now to get caught up on all the doings on the Forum!!! Have a safe day all. lyn

Good morning ladies
all the last minute details today for the trip to San Diego. Still looking for some clip on earrings, will run over to Kohls for one last ditch effort
and if I don't find any, guess my ears will be nekkid Gotta run to Pet Smart for dogfood and this evening will run over to grandpa's house
to pick up grandson #2. The rental is nice, a chevy cruze but I keep bumping my knees as I climb under the steering wheel. Its up as high as
it goes.

Good morning. It is a cool, rainy day here on the Highland Lakes of central Texas. I must say that I prefer sunshine, but we really need the rain around here. I guess I could wash the interior windows, it's not raining inside! But it's also a good day to start a new book! Have a good one.

Lyn, so glad you made it home safely and had a good trip on top of it all. It was so good to meet you at the GTG, despite our crappy weather. Weather is great here this week. Cold in the morning 35 today but warming up to 70's. Supposed to be like this for the rest of the week. Guess it is Motorhome maintenance day for me. Still debating whether or not to get it winterized before I come back from Las Vegas or afterwards. Decisions decisions.

Not much happening here in Normal... Lyn glad you are home safe and sound! Ave have a great time at the wedding... I was born in San Diego...
Do you think we would be in business if we ran things like the government does? so sad that our country cannot get its act together...

Was here way early, so am glad you opened the morning coffee....had to be in Brunswick to the Dermatologist at 8:30am....The good news is I'm cancer free with the skin issues....Tomorrow is the re-check CT scan on the kidneys, which I feel are just fine, then I'm done!!!!

We stopped and got tickets for the "Kingsland Food & Wine Tasting" tomorrow afternoon & evening....sounds like fun....

Back into shorts today...forecast has it in the mid-80s for the next few days....Ernie's happy, but I would like the mid-70s....

Okay, back to the cross-stitch....

I spent my day on the Blue Ridge Parkway which was beautiful with fall colors - tho sun wasn't too cooperative. It is to rain tomorrow so I am near Mt. Airy, North Carolina for 2 nights with Passport America. Free WiFi so hoping to do blog posts. I also need to figure out where I am going next before going to see Kerry in Durham and my nieces at Camp LeJeune - lots of choices but the weather isn't being real cooperative.

My younger daughter had to have a repeat mammogram and ultrasound today so I was holding my breath! Turned out to be swollen lymph nodes - don't know why but that happens to her from time to time. Sigh of relief!
