Anita, we frequent the Amish country because we like it there, but we don't eat at the restaurants because the food is not good. All the restaurants are full and busy, so most people don't agree with me.

I've found some I like, and others I don't ... but have always loved the buffet at Shady Maple. Except it's prices lol

Have never gone to their breakfast buffet though.

Well it's well into the evening, but it's been busy here today, too...Up and out the door by 9am for Spinner's yearly checkup, shots, and while they were at it, nails done....He tested positive for lime disease, but maybe be a faults positive, but could just mean he was exposed to it...he's been on flea & tick meds, but have changed back to Advantix from Front-line.... so will have it re-checked when we go back for a booster on his new vaccine for a virus that is transmitted via swimming, or drinking in rivers, creeks, puddles, that may have been contaminated by rodents,i.e. ground moles, rats, chipmunks, etc......it's suppose to prevent kidney/urinary track issues that can be life threatening....leptospirosis...Lepto-4 vaccination.....Now, he's all set on the rest of the routine shots, too.......Poor pup, he was so sleepy all afternoon, but after supper we did our "family walk" and he's somewhat back to his normal self.... ;)

I woke up with a full head and started sneezing an hour later......so have been blowing my nose since....and taken benedryl every 4 hrs....I hope it's better tomorrow cause I have an demotology appt. and don't want to have to re-scheduled...

But we did go to the store and then just came home to chill....

Okay, got to be up and out the door tomorrow by 8am.....so I'll stop for now....

Forgot to mention that California state parks are also now charging $7 to use the dump station, even if you are camping there and already paid $35 per night for dry camping! Plus, there is a timer set for 60 seconds. Outrageous. Only response my complaints get is "Well, this is California."

Good reason to head for Nevada and Arizona, which I am going to do as soon as I can!

I've never stayed in a Ca SP and don't know if I want to now - but have found some nice county parks in CA ... and boondocking spots.
