LOL Yeah..seems like Florida is going to the North..changing her direction..and we is getting colder as I type..in fact I hear tomorrow we are setting record lows..iffn' it rain..I know for certain we'd have SNOW...omg..perish the thought... but it's dang cold in not so Sunny Florida...brrrrrrrrr Speaking of which let me dance through our forum and see what's cookin'... MsBhaven (Margie) good hearing from you too..and I know you're happy to hear, "hubby is still wanting to go full time"... Margie.. we also understand you wanting to avoid all those incidentals ..like Tornados, Rain, Snow you know strong winds..but let me think.. I'm not sure if AZ gets tornados..but I know they get snow..up in them hills..LOL but heck just think of all the excitement... I'm in Florida..and I think we get all cepting snow..but I don't know there's a strong possibility we might..at least I know Ice is coming.. but you have time..and hey, nothing like seeing the good ole USA... and I'm sure the Sista's will have great suggestions.. can't wait to read them too..

Coffee pot is perking..Kettle is whistling. yeppers ya got the routine..come one come all.. Making donut holes for today..have plenty of muffins..Corn and Blueberry..and yep got some Banana Nut Blue Berry bread.. oh and Lori...I have them Orange Cinnamon buns.. you know the dough boy ones...LOL

Snow and winds I don't have, but the thermometer is standing at -22 now-----was -25 when I got up a while ago. I have always said that February seems to be our coldest month, and, so far, it's proving to be very true!

Thanks for the coffee and good cheer.....truck is warmed up, and I'm off to the trenches!

Buenas Dias to all - We had the most wonderful day yesterday. Drove about 40 miles up into the mountains east of Mazatlan and visited two very old towns. One, Copala, a mining town was founded in 1565! The other Concordia produces beautiful hand carved wood furniture. Amazing. Both had beautiful OLD churches. And don't know if I mentioned it or not but we've also driven around the old historic district of Mazatlan. Have taken many, many pictures and will post them when I get them uploaded. Have to go upfront of campground to get that done. As it takes a while. Today we hope to go see the Pole Fliers. Will explain if we see them. OH boy just ran outside and took a couple of amazing shots of the sunrise through the palm trees.
Need to go check the rest of the forum while the internet is working here at the motorhome. Bye for now

Okay...........got Ernie out to the mess hall here........He's so happy he can get breakfast there cause then he doesn't have to make me move until I've had my fill of the java It's really cold for Mississippi!! 28F this morning.....but the sun is out and the sky is blue, so maybe it will warm up a little...

I'm so glad to be off the road again.....Big City driving cause us both to stress out (Houston on Monday.) Now we can explore the Navy Base and the area.....

The new military campground here is really nice, but new.....No trees for shade, etc....They are a "1st come, 1st served" campground, so no reservations taken. Walked by the office at 4pm yesterday and the "No room at the Inn" sign was up.....every site taken.....Boy, we were lucky to get here when we did.

Okay, let me go read some of what all of you have been up to and get ready for the day...

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Brrrrrrr!! It's freaking cold out there! Have no idea of the temp on my back porch cause my thermometer broke. The little arm/hand fell off. Yahoo says it's 11f so I know it's colder than that on the porch. Brrrrrrr! Weather channel says wind chill is about 3f and only suppose to get to around 21f here today. Cold again tonight. Gads, Brrrrrr!!!! Dang they're talking 27f in Orlando for tonight! Hey hope ya got some good warm blankies down there in Florida!!!

Work, blech!! They sent a sign up sheet around yesterday and "asked" for volunteers to work overtime. ~sigh~ Here we go again. I signed Kelly and I up to go in early today and tomorrow at 11am instead of 12:20pm. It will give us 3hrs of overtime, we might go in an hour early Friday too. Along with the 4hrs we will work on Saturday we will have 8hrs of overtime. Nice for the paycheck tho. Yesterday was the very first day that I spent all day on the phones and on the computer. So out of 2 1/2 weeks I maybe have enough time on the phone to total out to 2 days worth of work. They let me know yesterday that my talk time on the phone is way to long. They want all calls to be 7 minutes and under. Well jeeze! Idiots, some of the calls are really quick because all they want are phone numbers or to just check on the status. If they have an analyst and who it is. Other calls can take some time. The very worst ones on the phone are the bank reps or collection agents. They can make a mess of your talk time.

Ok I've been swilling coffee and need to go get rid of some of it! Check my email, check my news and get my comic fix. Hmmm grab some banana nut blueberry bread. Oh YUM!!!!

Good Morning !!
It's 41 and partly sunny here in Florence Oregon !!! It's suppose to be 60 today Perfect weather for me !!!!!
It's suppose to rain tomorrow so I need to get out today !!! I can do the chores tomorrow.
Yesterday was crazy nice !! It must have been in the 60's - it was sunny and no wind !! Molly and I went to South Jetty Beach where she could run off leash for awhile. She had a great time and I found a few agates. The ocean was so pretty - it was just a delightful day.

It was really nice here, too, yesterday. In the mid 50s. I finally got to the backyard to rake up some of the branches and pinecones that fell from the heavy snow and ice weight. Today is suppose to be nice again so I'll probably give the front yard a raking, too. Rain is forecasted to start up again for the weekend. Oh, and we broke a 1976 snow record and winter isn't over yet.
I got a gift card to World Market for Christmas so I think I'll head over there today. At my weight loss seminar yesterday the speaker, Letha, said we should make the extra effort to eat off of a pretty plate and drink from a fancy cup or glass. We tend to take that time for granted and we need to treat ourselves special, even when eating a snack or lunch. Just thought I'd pass that along.
PS As of yesterday I'm down 15 1/2 lbs!!

I'm sitting at a truck stop passing time so I don't hit Houston in Lunch traffic. I have the most awful cold. Every breath comes out whistling and gurgling. I keep telling myself ...it's not pnuemonia....it's NOT. I keep stopping for cups of hot tea and boiliung hot soup. Its the only thing that makes me feel better. My temp is climbing. If it gets worse I'll go to the Doc when I reach Huntsville. Wait till you see, when I get to Huntdsville I'll be asking, What cold?

Sparkle, good to see you post again; so sorry about your nasty cold - do get rid of it before you come here. Hopefully you are planning to arrive on Friday - no more freezing temps by then and the weekend will be in the 60s. Last night it was -12 with the wind chill. Actual temps for today only to reach low 20s and back to single digits for the night! Not the time to be setting up camp on the mountain. At least the sun is out today and the winds have slowed a bit.

I finally broke down and cranked the heat up a little more yesterday after finding myself crawling back into bed in the afternoon just to get my feet warm. Can't remember the last time the heat pump shut off - utility bill is going to be a killer! Did not venture out all day and will stay put today as well. Nicky is really unhappy about that but he will get lots of run time in this weekend.

While I was out on Monday, did spot a couple of robins. Wondering if they were lost or if it is a sign that spring will follow shortly. Also saw a fox as I was turning into the driveway. He was likely looking for a chipmunk dinner. Chipmunks are usually plentiful around my yard but there has been a hawk hanging around lately so I doubt he found any.

Have made a pot of veggie soup and packed up some more remains of Christmas. With Valentine's Day fast approaching, figured Christmas stuff should be disappearing back into closets. It is shameful to be that slow about it.
