Is Casey asking to go in? Looks like the door's open. Maybe she's waiting for the OK from mom. Such a cutie.

Peaches even decided Casey was ok even if she is a girl. It was so cute - Casey "dug" herself a bed in the wood chips next to my site. Peaches then dug a bigger one behind Casey then moved to see what we hoomans were doing - and Casey moved right into that "bigger" bed. lol ...

It was great to meet both Lyn and Casey ... so glad that happened. So surprised when it happened, too.

Yes, Casey is one cool well behaved dog and her companion is one sweet lady. They absolutely belong together. You can just see the love between them. I don't have a dog (that is not MY dog in the photo) but seeing everyone else's pets makes me kinda want one. Big decision!

It is just that I have had so many pets in the past and it has been so painful when they departed. I feel I don't want to go through that again. Plus....after spending so much time raising 5 kids (and no they don't ever go away), I rather like not having the responsibility of having to worry about letting a pet out, having to rush home if I've been gone too long, getting out of bed to take care of such, etc., etc., etc. Am I being selfish? Am I missing out? I just don't know. I do know that little Tucker won my heart so who knows ....I may just weaken. A cat isn't out of the question either though...after seeing K2's beautiful and friendly pet.

There were other beautiful dogs at the GTG...just can't remember all of their names!!!

Yes, Casey is a 9 year old lady. Loves to visit with all dogs. The dog we are visiting here in Sacramento is a two year old Malti-Poo.
The blooming plant on the patio is a Succulent bowl, bought at CostCo and given to me as a present. And, I leave the patio door open ALL the time so the cat and dog can go in and out as they desire.
I do not like air conditioning.

My dog is very good company for me. She also forces me to go outside (even tho I don't wanna sometimes) for a walk a couple of times a day. I have found that you meet way more people when you are walking your dog than just walking yourself. It is a social event LOL My dog is very social and well behaved also so that is a plus. Judy is right tho, the downside is I have to be sure I am home in a reasonable amount of time and I just have someone else to think about besides just myself. And I do have to go outside even when it is pouring rain. THAT is not a social event.

Judy must have been feeling left out as she just appeared one afternoon with a dog. I recognized the dog from the previous days dog walking and knew it was the Camp Host's dog but it still was pretty darn funny. It was a Boxer and fairly strong so not sure who was really walking whom.
