Aaaaah, It's Monday MOrning...even thou the sun ain't up.. I am.. ..You ask, "Why"?...Cause my Joe, who is 13 yrs old and a Crested..can't hold it past 4 hours and so... he cries I get up and then once I let him out ..all are up and all have to go..so it's a group thing..when they are all finished they charge back in and to my bed...hence no room in the inn for me..and I'm now wide awake..and beings I'm up before the Rooster I might as well gather me eggs for breakfast....Don't cha just love my frame of mind...LOL Did this picture up and thought how neat ..now where can I use it... I had it for the animation demo...but now..it just fits right in.. Oh and I did this post and lost it...yep that dang beast got me again..and it was a true gem... I mean I think I out did myself...went into over drive... well..as I strolled through what you all have been up too.. I ended it with lots of smiles... so are ya ready.. I'll try again...

Dpf..(Pat) done asked us a question..and a good one at that Pat... about Ice Makers...of course our Beth has the simple solution..she gets hers from the kitchen where she works..but when on the road she'll use her ice cube trays..iffn' when she finds them..well Beth..when you are up in Alaska..just chip off a few from the iceberg..wait that's lettuce .. Iceburg...now that's better and of course if you all go read that column you'll all have a good laugh too...it's a good one..

Liz has been invaded by the Ibis..(that's what ya call them long nose birds) and it's neat looking at them..cause the mind thinks..maybe they are looking at us like we are strange...LOL Good shots LIz.. camera is always ready with our Liz..
Oh and also check out Liz's sale column on her RT... You know Liz, I just thought of something..Maybe the guy is paying you in cash so you write him up a bill of sale for less money so he don't have to pay the duty charge to bring it back into Canada...that happens a lot at the dog shows..they ask the vendor for a different sales slip...cause it can get costly for them... just a thought...

Asirimarco..(Carol and Bill) have certainly taken us along on their trip to Mexico..for those that may not get there..geeez couldn't ask for better pictures.. We need that in our lives.. it sure feels good.. I enjoyed it too...

the day to make up for the loss of sleep you get in the night. That little
picture is so cute, and the little chicken is adorable. Back to work for me
today, seemed like a long weekend with all the stuff I had to catch up on.
I'm definately going to be tired today, maybe take a nap on my bus after
lunch cause listening to Bandit hack and cough all night sure made me
loose a little sleep. He's back on his antibiotics and prednizone and I know
there is really no getting well with him, its all about making him more
comfortable.
Coffee is ready and a little toast and then get ready to go. Have a great

Goooood morning Sistahs!!!!

OMG It's morning and I'm up. It's early for me actually and I'm up. YAWN All I want to do is go back to bed and sleep. Wouldn't ya just know, I don't have to be into work today until 12:30 and here I sit. I woke up at 6:30 for a potty run and by that time of the morning Shade just knows that it's her morning potty time too. I tried to lay there and go back to sleep at least until my alarm went off but nooooo, Shade wasn't having any of that. Nope it was in Mom's face wake up time as soon as I rolled over and got a little restless. Needless to say I got up, went potty, threw my jammies on and out the door we went. At least it's not freezing cold out there. ~sigh~

I have no idea if this different shift thing will continue or not?? Last week we worked from 8a-4:30p this week we are working 12:30p-9p. I hate that shift, it just screws up your whole day. I had thought that they were going to have 2 seperate shifts not flip flop us back and forth. If this is what they are gonna do? I am so glad that it will only be for the next 2 1/2 months, then we are out of there.

The weekend was the laziest one I have spent in ages!!! Only did just a little picking up here in the house and swept the floors and that was it for me. I didn't even do any laundry. I could get use to that!!! But I would have to do laundry at some point cause if'in I didn't I would soon be running around nekkid and trust me the world is not ready for that!!! Good grief they would call out PITA for the hairless Bigfoot, the EPA for pollution, and Homeland Security for the terror it would generate if I was caught nekkid in public!!!

Ok need a refill on the coffee and I'm gonna rummage around for morning snackies. I do believe that the banana blueberry bread has my name all over it!!!! My 2 fave things all in one. Of course I could change my mind as long as Barbz little girl is gathering up fresh eggs!! Watching her shag that hen out of the nest like that ya guaranteed that them eggs can't be any fresher!!! LOL

Good morning, Barbzeee, and everyone else too! Love that graphic this morning, Barb....I'll have mine scrambled.

Got a handyman coming to go over plans for renovating the last room in my house that needs it (converted garage). Once that's done I'm going to have a realtor come and discuss what they think the chances of it selling are and how much $$ they might be able to get for it if I sold. Getting tired of woryying about care of house, yard, and pool while I'm away traveling, and getting tired of doing it myself when I'm home. Plus, when I am home, I'd prefer to live in the little town of McIntosh where my church & church friends are. Might rent there or get a park model in their park on Orange Lake?? Just thinking....whoa that can be dangerous for me.

Two meetings to go to today, one this afternoon, and one this evening. Going to be a busy one. In between, I'm continuing to stock and figure out how to utilize space in the Pleasure Way. That's my fun!

But first, I'll go check out all these posts Barb is talking about. Have a great day!

Good Morning all.

It's -26F. standing temp here this am, with a wind that won't quit, making the chill factor something I don't even want to contemplate. My son is still asleep, in here by the fire, trying to recover from a very traumatic several days, culminating on Saturday with the mid-winter burial of one his friends and classmate. Bird breath is visible around my feeder this morning, and that's never a good sign!

I have taken today off to spend the last few hours of his being here with him, and then I'll drive him to the airport in Plattsburgh for a 5:00 pm flight back to Orlando. Hopefuly, I'll be more back to normal within the next few days. I've been reading everyone's posts, but just haven't had the time or inclination to answer anything----Barb, I am sure, knows how this is.

Happy Monday to you all, and I sure hope the temperatures come back up before everything freezes solid here.

Morning all. I finished My Sister's Keeper last night - then was up and down all last night thinking about it. Therefore I'm working with very few brain cells this morning as they are all telling me I should be sleeping. Seriously, they are still thinking - and that's all I'm going to say about it until we get ready to discuss this book.

I agreed to change my hours for the next several weeks, possibly until I leave - working Sundays, 1/2 day Monday, then Tues and Wed - so I'll be working an extra 1/2 day. I can use the money - and the extra day I won't have to get up as early - whew lol

OK, off to read the forum before I head back to work.

We are into winter's grip for a while. Snow started Friday and has been off and on since then. I think by tonight the flakes will stop. Our storm total isn't too much, about 8-9 inches without wind and the lowest we've gotten is 5. We held steady at about 9 yesterday but tonight as the clouds move out we'll drop to -10 or so. We all spent a good part of the morning and afternoon outside clearing snow. We have the plow on the ATV and hubby had a ball. I had to finally tell him to get off the durn thing -- he was having too much fun! He's too used to perfectly clearing airfields for planes so he just kept pushing snow! We also had the snowblower out and if it got worse we have 2 tractors with blades on the front so we can deal with very deep snow if we can get them started! The barnyard and lane are pretty much leveled off to make walking & driving easier but out in the pastures it's knee deep because of the tall grass which fluffy the dry snow up even further. And the county road maintainer came through yesterday morning so we'll have no trouble getting in to town if we want to. Personally unless we need milk or pet food we have no inclination to leave. The weather on the local weather yesterday predicted we could get another 7 inches on top of what we already have. On the weather channel radar it looks like the heaviest has moved a bit south of us so I doubt we'll get more than 3 inches more but who knows...those storms blow up and dump where ever they want to. This the pure powder skiers love -- so light it has very little moisture content but oh so easy to work with. I hate the heavy wet snows. Out west we don't get that kind of snow until spring.

The great new is since the maintainer went down the road and we got more on top of that -- it's perfect sledding conditions on a couple of the hills on the road. I think we'll drag out our sleds and go for it!

There's not much more news than that so I'll leave it at that and get ready to play in the snow!

good morning all. Its raining a little here this morning.

Liz, think carefully about a park model. The people here in their park models complain that the rent of the site keeps going up and they have no choice but to pay it. Those models aren't very movable. I certainly know what you mean about maintaining a house. That's exactly why I rented my out and went fulltime. With the economy being what it is, it would probably be better if you didn't sell right now. If I sold today (according to my realtor) I would get about $20,000 less that even a year ago.

Echo, I'll bet you can hardly wait to move on down the road. I really admire you for being able to stick out that job from He!!

I enjoying the sights of Mexico from Carol. Maybe they should lead a caravan for the ladies?

Zeee, can relate to everyone going potty. Sassy has to go out at least once in the middle of the night so I make Buddy go to. Then I have to go. Then we all jump back in bed and yeah, there are times when there's hardly any room left over for me but I just push my way in the middle. Sassy grumbles but moves; Buddy goes limp and weighs about 200 pounds so I can't move him over.

My friends are now in New Orleans and the site next to me looks really, really empty. I had gotten used to having a neighbor that I could pop in for coffee or wine.

I'm so ready for my March trip - ummmm, might even leave earlier. Getting hitch itch really bad.

I'm really lucky in that Molly will sleep all night and has never wanted to get up to pee in the night ! I get up, she just stays in bed. Good girl !!!
I think we'll go to the beach today and then I need to re-organize the bathroom cabinets - they're a mess.
That's all I have planned, but who know what will happen !!??!!

Guess I'm lucky, too. I'm usually up by 4:30 or 5 and Chewy sleeps in until 7 or so. In fact I usually have to roust her out of bed and send her outside. It's almost 9 here, she's had her breakfast, played with her favorite toy for a while and now she's in her favorite napping spot taking a morning snooze....on my lap. If she does wake me up at night to go out, which is very seldom, she really, really has to go, and it's usually from something she ate that I shouldn't have given her.

Not much going here, I've got some laundry to do and install a couple of deadbolts in the front and back doors. For some reason I've never felt the need for them, but since the kids moved from next door, I've been kind of "hinky", guess that's the best way to describe it.

I've got to go to Costco and pick up a prescription, so if the temp gets up to 65 or so, I'll take the Harley. Need to get some miles under my butt 'cause we're going to Arizona on a bike ride on the 7th and the BF is pushing me to ride my own. I'd really like to, just don't know if I'm ready for that long a trip yet.

Cold, gray & rainy here. Yuck! Did not want to get out of bed. Good thing I do have the naked pups or I probably would've stayed there all day. But I'm up & getting ready to bake. I have orders for my gingerbread & banana biscotti dog treats so I better get to it. Haven't baked in a while so I know all my lil "helpers" will go nuts when they smell it. I have to lock them all behind a baby gate out of the kitchen, so they all sit there. 7 of them in a row, staring & begging!

Dh is outside right now working on our storage bldg. We are still full steam ahead with the workamping idea. We are now online with workamper.com & I think I'll sign up with KOA too. It is nice to have something to look forward to especially when it is so dreary out.
