In case any one else is wondering. We use Direct TV. On the Alfa we have a satellite dish on the roof, in Jennie we had a dome on the roof. We can pick up TV only as far south as Hermosillo, MX - beyond that nothing. Which is strange because we can get Direct TV in McAllen, TX which is further south than Hermosillo. Hum....never thought of that before.
We know several people with Canadian Star and/or Sky TV who can get tv all over Mexico. But you need a Canadian address to get the subscription and cable box.

Yes, I am. I wish I could just "send" her, though, instead of "taking" her!!
I've been trying to break her in to carrying a little backpack, but she's having none of it.

Sounds like Peaches and me. We go for a walk. Get to a corner. I go one way, she goes another. Most of the time she wins - only if I HAVE to go the other way for something do I force the issue. She selects where we walk 90% of the time. And she can just stop in her tracks if I don't notice it's not the way SHE wants to go. Silly girl. Course, often she loses on the last leg of the walk, when she wants to keep on going and I've decided it's time to come home.

Today she cracked me up when I told her we were going in the car. I walked past the car to go in the office to get something from Megan. Peaches LOVES going in the office as Megan usually gives her a treat. But she wouldn't budge past the car - as I said car, we were to get in. So I let her in the car where she happily sat and waited for me (after I opened windows, etc).

Sounds exactly like Maggie. Occasionally I have to play the Mommy card just to show her who is really the boss. Yeah, right.
