Thank Gawd ...It's Friday..Yes ! Yes ! Morning All ...Well it's finally here..the weekend will begin...aaaaaaah it sure does feel great.. I get a visit from Sears..(the freezer ) and then for lunch I'm meeting a friend and going to Captain D's ..Now we don't have them up North..and I think they are better than Long John Silvers and then we'll check out the "New" Sam's club...yeah it's now closer to me...which means...back up the truck and fill er up LOL.. It's was another chilly night and morning brrrrr we're at 34 now ..and I know Liz and Gentleladybear (Nan) you have got to be a bit colder... Carold, are you in the Tampa area???? you is chilly too... it certainly has been a cold spell.... Yucko..come on Mr Sunshine... now let me take a walk through and see what's happening.....

Beth's confession of the "Potato"..gosh I have this vision right now..and ya know what's even funnier...She still got a chance to eat that potato...LOL...but ya know.. I would have too...hahahahaha... Waste not want not !

"A Jolly Good Time" LOL I just love that term..and yep, I love that pocket book ...that suitcase...that huge bag...oh you can tell it came from Mexico...but look at all the stuff you can stash Pictures great too..yep liked that little Retro TT.. Ok, now I must fess up... here I thought all the Sista's were staying at where Beth and Sparkle is..but NOT...but as I look back nothing was really said they wasn't..guess see we should never ASSume..LOL Sorry Charlie...but ya know you'll all get to gether and that's a real good thing..FUN FUN FUN... and ya know we is enjoying it too...

RetiredHappy (Karen) has had company ..and she's been doing the touring thing..chatted with her a bit..and can't wait to hear all her good news..come on Karen..we is waiting on ya... Where'd ya go..What cha do ....you know the routine...LOL

Almost there (Lenora) was asking about our post signs..at the beginning of each post...Ya know sometimes Lenora I have to re check them too...and when I see the scrolling happening I know it's a active topic.. these little cute things help me glide through..well sometimes but see lots of cute gizmos here to check out.... Thanks Ava..you did good too...

Asirimarco (Carol and Bill) did it again...the Real life Photo's are great.. enjoyed the fact that they even have helpers in the grocery store..in uniforms no less..nice to see that they are eager to help and I'm sure it helps they might get a few tips..and again Veggie Stands..looks good.. lots and lots of colors too...such an interesting area.. I've got to put Mexico on my list again...and I'm sure if you are all following Carol and Bill..you will be thinking ..not a bad place to maybe even caravan too..

NakePupAndMe (Micki) asked about Condensation in her RV during Winter stay... Micki.. lots of us have those things happen..I sometimes just leave top vent open just a bit.. now I've not had that much of a problem but when I cooked I ran my vent..as that steam does wonders..but with this rig I have the windows are better insulated..and I didn't get that much..but still some.. anxious to see what the rest of the Sista's will write.. ..

Marslet (Sharlotte) has let us all know Ms Emma is back home..she had her visit to the Doc's and got Spayed..and a few baby teeth removed... Now Sharlotte can relax.. and Emma is doing fine..and being spoiled even more... Yep that's for sure... Good to hear from you too by the way..

Avalen (Ava) Her Pixie did good too... She was a sweetheart and got all her blood work done..and now have to wait a few days for results..we're all praying she'll be ok Ava...keep us posted...

Echo is checking the calendar and thinking of what else she needs to get rid of and what she's gonna take..mmmmmmm as the boxes build up around you...amazing how much "stuff" you gather...aaaaaaah I can't wait to read You is on the Road...to a New life..and yep..the Grand Canyon.. now Echo... that's a site to behold and no matter how many times you look at it..you find other wonders... I loved it..and stayed there for two weeks..just a site to watch..morning noon and night... Can't wait to hear all you see...

NaSoosie..(Soos) we're all keep that light burning..and we're here if ya need us... but do keep us posted when ya can..

Cedar...Yep...it's Friday.. the weekend is here and tomorrow ..ya can sleep in iffn' ya want too..now that's a real good thing too.. Sure miss ya in the mornings..but we all do understand.. sometimes the day gets away from us... but as long as we know you are all ok.. then we feel better..

Fernie...I'm glad you are enjoying that warmth...would ya mind passing it to the rest of us...oh and Tobey sure looked cute..but ya can see the devil is in his eyes... Post his picture .. the sista's would get a kick out of his new dooo

Ok, it's that time as most of the Sista's are busy and we all understand that..and when ya can do come and sit a spell rest your weary feet..either by the campfire or by the kitchen table..there's always room for more... Coffee Pot is on and Kettle is filled...now it's time to open the cubbard and get the goodies down...Beth's apple cake.. a good one ..dense and tasty and I will not tell ya how many slices I've done...oooooooh my... now I'm gonna just have a slice of toast cause lunch will be good...and ya never know what I'll bring home..LOL Biscotti needs to be refilled...have some corn muffins..and a few blueberry muffins too...but most of all.. YOU.. just enjoy hearing on what's on your plate for today.....

Good Morning----very warm morning for January here---23 F.

My son got a round-trip flight from Orlando yesterday, and I will be picking him up at Plattsburgh Airport after school this afternoon. Plans are for his sister, my daughter, to meet him here at my house to accompany him to the last couple of visiting hours at the funeral home. (IF all goes well and his plane remains on time---scheduled to land at 5:00 pm.) He will fly back Monday afternoon, so I plan to take a family day off from school on Monday. I'll probably check back in on Tuesday morning. Thanks for all the concern, and I'll be back soon.

yeehaw,... I'm here at a normal time of day to say "good morning!" Temperature is mild here,.. in the 20s. but a we have a cold snap coming again and it will be in single digits. Oh well, you folks down south don't be complaining about your "cool" weather, you could be here with Soosie and me!" I expect we'll get another slam of below zero weather before this is over.

OKeydokie,... I'm off to get ready for work. Lunch is packed, I'll also be eating supper at school as we have three basketball games tonight. My 5th grader grandson will be going with me. Tomorrow I'll take my 2nd grade grandson to those games. That way they can see their cousin play.

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Yep it's Friday and boy are we glad. It's payday!!! We've been short on cash this past week so today is a good thing. Need to figure rent and electric bill out of these paychecks. Never ends, takes 2 weeks to earn them and they're gone before ya even get them. LOL

Got up just a tad bit early this morning, needed to take a shower (phew) wash the ACT stink off and go right back in to get some more. HA! Kellly just shut off her shower, she's up a little bit early too as she wants to stop at the ATM before we get to work. Nothing much going on here other than work and sleep. No excitement in my day to day life. But that can be a really good thing depending on the type of excitement don't ya know.

Chilly here this morning but suppose to go up to around 58f today. Oh that is gonna feel so good!!! At least until it turns freaking cold again that is. But gonna enjoy the warm for the short time it's here.

Ok can't stay on here. The pants I chose to put on this morning are not gonna work? I know I haven't lost any weight but just stood up to put the water jug in the fridge and the dang things drooped enough that I had to grab and yank 'em up. So need to change them.

Good morning everybody! Another cold freeze in FL this morning, but aaahhh....it'll be in the 70s tomorrow they promise. Gotta love it.

Sticking around home today, working on the rv. Saw Marley and Me yesterday....it was a 2-tissue movie for sure. Came home and took Roe for a walk, gave him hugs and told him how much I appreciate him. He didn't know why he was getting so much attention, but he enjoyed it.

Now I've got to go read about the potato and other adventures that have been posted. Have a great day!

Good morning all! It is a beautiful morning here, still a little cooler than normal but the sun is out & it's warming up. Of course, we are packing up to leave today. But it has a been a great trip. Lots to do when we get home. We get more excited every day about our workamping plan & are looking forward to get everything in order to hit the road next fall.

Thanks for the replies on our condensation problem. I should've realized cracking a vent or window would help, it has just been sooo cold I didn't want our precious propane going out the window.

Nasoosie, I will be thinking of you & your family this weekend. Sending you lots of positive thoughts to help get ya'll thru this.

Well, time to get it in gear so to speak, and head back home.

Buenos Dias ya'll We had a spattering of rain last night and some clouds this a.m. - just enough the Internet is playing "catch me if you can" I'm so glad for this post as I never seem to be able to remember what day it is. Awful huh?
The picture this morning was outstanding.
Went into a little fishing town down the road yesterday - fascinating. Wore out a battery taking pictures. Hope I'm not boring you all to death with the pictures. I just have to share them with someone and I'm not doing well in keeping my blog up to date. Need to do that today and catch up my web page with the travels too. Got another signer in my guest book on the travel web page - that always is exciting to know someone out there is reading it. Went into the store yesterday and went to the central market...always interesting. Especially the meat hanging on hooks with no refrigeration.

We are into winter again and from the looks of the radar/weather maps...we are into for snow showers until Monday. That's ok, in our arid climate we can use all the moisture that will fall in any format! Todays snow is very pretty, light fluffy stuff falling with only a slight wind. But our temps are dropping into signal numbers tonight. At 8 am it's 16. This pattern will continue into Monday so we have a lot more white to go.

We had planned to head down to Scottsbluff for Dad's doc appt but we will postpone that until mid-week. I can't see getting in a car and being out on the open highway in the plains for 75 miles while this storm is going on. We could get there and back ok but it might be a real nail bitter! It does not make sense to risk anything unless it is an emergency.

So today is just another day like any other -- no time clock to log onto but still the daily chores -- feed cattle, bring in firewood, feed turkeys, clean, cook and do laundry...I'd not trade this for any job in the world. I know lots of gals are really into thier jobs whether they need to work or not. Once a stay at home farmers daughter always....I truely hated having a work schedule to meet. And I guess its good I did it for about 5 years or I'd be insane by now. Commuting, clocking in and dealing with the stress of retail was a good calory burner, did rev me up into the job and in a way I loved it when I was "into" it but...it took all I had and I had nothing left for when I walked out the door and went home. At home all I could manage was eat and sleep. The house and yard work went down the tubes so...when I met and married the new hubby & he said he wanted to travel -- I gladdly turned in my time card and retired.

Now just let it snow....
