Thursday..Oh no..it's Morning...eeek...and my page expired right as I was clicking on the submit button..ooooooh, I'm not a happy camper..oooooooh with being cold and oooooooh I just wanna pick this Laptop up and bounce this sucker.....and this morning I posted directly into the frame...nope I did not copy and paste...ugh... My brain is numb and not just from the cold.....Yucko..that surely does suck !!

Well, I'll see if I can shake some gray matter..but it was a good one too...geeeez...don't cha just love it when that happens...NOT!!!

My recap is gonna be a short one Sista's... I done lost my momentum..I'll complain all day ..trust me... anyone calls beware

I started off with saying.."NakedPupsandme (Micki) and her hubby are now getting the message.."it's time to hit the OPEN road..see the good ole USA and even do some workamping..ya get to meet some great people and best of all..you get to see the good lords works..amazing how just even a little flower can make ya smile or that glow of a Sunset..aaaaaaah and then as I read through I see Molly'sMom (Trudy) has got her a Workamping job in Wisconsin.. and at a KOA...by the way Trudy, I always loved KOA's they were my first experience of campgrounds from doing the dog show world for years... Good luck to all !!

Bether's dilemma is panning out..thank goodness..and hey Beth if I were you I'd make that nice lady an Apple Cake..by the way Sista's if you are up to this chore..try Beth's recipe..but be aware that batter is an exercise..Yeppers..that is a thick asp batter..and when ya gotta fold in them apples..get that big shovel out..but boy it smells great and this morning is the grand opening..LOL...

Oh and I hear by word..that Mtngal (Diane) Kelpie (Kellie) and RV Granny (Lori and Ernie) are heading to town ..staying where Beth is..and Sparkle..holy hannah what a GTG that's gonna be...Yikes someone get out the camera...oh and let her tell ya about her tell tale Potato...now I'm not saying a word...shhhhhhhh..

Avalen..(Ava) good to hear the news about your brother..I'd trust it too if the Docs say, "he'll do much better".. have a friend who had very similar happenings ..she had a shunt put in the base of the brain and she did fantastic is now back to showing her dogs..when we all thought she'd never recover...so keep the faith sista..we is all praying for ya..

Liz, I'll say that slide show you have of your rig..should sell quick it's like brand new...You did a fantastic job and that picture of the Engine..sparkles...keep us posted..and hey.. checking to see more pics of the "New" one..

Echo, I know I heard taps being played as you parted with those Dragons..but take one with ya...even have one put on a mug..that will bring ya luck....and another day towards hitting the open road too....

Asirimarco..(Carol and Bill) took us for a walk...amazing..just amazing.. that Huatabampito..what a place I loved that bird stretching his wings..aaaaah and another sunset...Carol...I sure hope you are starting your book...me wants a copy..signed please..... I can't wait for the next venture with you and Bill...

Fernie's campfire is a blazing..it's the warmest campfire going..I do believe Fernie we is setting a record..and ya know what..ya never know what's being told around it either..last I checked it was on driving with the Frig on ... I do all the time..unless I'm using my genny then I switch to electric..or boondock it's propane..hey, gots to keep all that good stuff cold.... and any of you that haven't been by our fire...join in..and you can bring some wood too..or what ever goodies ya want..we are not shy..we'll share...

Cedar, I know you are making your mad dash in the mornings and just grab a quick fix..but soon one more day and you'll have a nice break..aaaah sounds good too ..but your cup is ready...always..

Nasoosie..(Soos) Hope all is ok..and want you to know we are sending our prayers to your son's friends family... nothing is ever easy..life doesn't always play a fair hand.. but our strength helps bind those wounds...We do miss ya...

Speaking of which..were is Soisew.(Shelley) ...sure hope she isn't snowed in... and we have quite a few MIA's... do hope you sista's are ok.. we'd sure love to hear from ya..we understand things can change in a minutes notice...but we do want to let you all know we are missing all of you !!

Ok, I need to get into the kitchen..as I've done this once before and as you can tell..I'm brain lagged..but I ain't a gonna let this get to me..too dang early..for those I've missed... I am sorry but I really didn't..cause I got all before..but now I can't remember..LOL must be Senior moment in last life spand...LOL...

Table is being set..sprinkling some powdered sugar on my pretty looking apple cake..(used one of those silicone bake ware) and then I have some English muffins...with Strawberry, Orange Marmalade or the reliable Grape Jelly...also have some Banana, Blueberry Nut bread and of course the Original Biscotti..
Kettle is on and so is the Coffee pot..can't wait to hear the music..Perking and whistling..with a few snores from the critters..but aaaaaaah the aroma of coffee...nothing finer... So please do join me..

Thanks, Barb, and to all of you for your condolences. This, too, shall pass, and I'll be back. We mothers are suffering the pain of our sons' first loss of a close friend. They are crushed, along with experiencing the inevitable guilt that always accompanies being a survivor of a death. All are trying to get back here to the north country for the weekend to cry with each other and support Rob's family. In the meantime, all we mothers can do is allow them time to cry and grieve.

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Oh gads! I woke up a little after 4:30, had to do that morning potty run early. Figured the heck with it and stayed up as I get up at 5:30 any way. Boy oh boy will I be yawning today. I'll have to work hard at keeping my eyeballs open today at work. Still have not been able to get on the computer or the phone at work. There are about 6 of us who for what ever reason have not been put into the system and gotten the clearance to get on the BOA web worksites. It's frustrating as all get out. We spend the days listening in on calls. And I was right all we are now is a glorified clearing house for information for BOA mortgages and the people who are facing foreclosure. We talk to the mortgagors to give them what little info there in in their loan file and then we send quickie emails to the people who are suppose to be servicing the loans either trying to keep them out of foreclosure, putting them into foreclosure, working on repayment plans or working with the Realtor to do what are called 'short sales'. ~sigh~

Kelly and I are counting down the days to when we can quit work!!! Oh heavens what a thought! We would both like to say "take this job and shove it" but we wont. We will do the right thing and give notice and work the notice out. Unless they decide to fire us after we give notice? They have done that up there to more than a few. So it will be interesting to see what happens. But we will do what's necessary so as to not burn our bridges. They have call centers out in NM and AZ and ya just never know, might need the good relations somewhere down the road.

Ok, I'm a filling up my coffee mug, grabbing a banana nut muffin this morn. hmmmm Might also check out that apple cake to see if it's been done right!!! Then it's off to check email and get my comic fix.

Good morning everyone,

Even your blue flowers look cold Barbzeee....21 degrees in Ocala this morning. Too cold to enjoy my "new" MH. Worked on the inside of it yesterday....cleaning, lining drawers & cabinets....about half done. Got the refrigerator nice and cold on elec., but couldn't get it to light on gas. (Previous owner said he hadn't run it on gas in a long time.) Note to others looking.....check out appliances on all their functions. I'm hoping it's just an air lock from not using it awhile...but will have it checked out. Gas comes through to stove burners & heater fine. Too cold to camp yet, but is supposed to warm up by the weekend. I hope to get it ready for a mini camp by the following weekend.

Today I'm going out to lunch with some ladies from church and going to see the movie Marley & Me. Enjoyed the book.

Now I'm going to copy this before I submit.

I'm just busy. Our weather has been freaky warm, in the 60's so we've been outside, opening up the rig to air it out, shampooing carpet, washing windows, laudnry, the same old stuff. It's not even below freezing now just before dawn and hasn't been cold. I'm outside working all day without a jacket.

But real winter weather will break this January thaw for quite a while I think, starting later today. We won't be above the 20's for at least a week. I'm betting our mild January will turn into a wicked February, quite normal for here actually.

So, I'm fine, just don't have time to spend on the computer. From here on our days will be busy so I will be spending less and less on the computer. Right now I only go online once per day to hurridly check email then I'm off doing something more interesting. I could be by summer we'll only be online once per week. And I think it's good to take a technology break and get back to nature. We need more walking and less sitting so....if you don't see me here...we'll be out in the real world not the cyber one!

well I have just a little extra time this am as I don't have to go to work til later.
Doctor appt this am, then come home get Pixie and take her for her dr appt.
Poor little thing is asking for breakfast along with the other two but she has to
do her bloodwork fasting so no breakfast for anybody. I told them I was out of
dogfood but I don't think they bought it
Seems I'm with Echo on missing a post somewhere, so will go off and see what
this news is from Nasoosie, sounds like prayers are need so just know mine are
in there too.
Coffee is so good this morning but I'm gonna suffer with the dogs and skip breakfast.

Gee that apple cake sounds good!! I used to work with a gal back in the early 70's when I worked for Mallory that made an out of this world apple cake!! I love good apple cake---especially after it sets a day or two!! Good morning. Got my cup of coffee this morning!!

MOrning to all - hum cake sounds good - maybe I'll bake something today. Its going to be another great day here on the beach in Mexico. We are thinking about driving down another road we saw to another small town. We'll see - Today I'll sort my shells and try to make up my mind about which ones I'll keep and drag home. Last night there was a party, I guess, down the beach a ways. The only way there was down the sand in front of us - had to have been 25 or more cars and trucks going there. Didn't hear any noise though - just when they all drove back. I posted some pictures of Alamos in the Interesting Places section. It is a really neat town. Also found dill pickles - yesterday we ate lunch here in the restuarant at the campground and they gave us some with our meal. Have not been able to find any in grocery stores. The owner said he will pick up a big bottle for us when he goes into the restaurant supply grocery store in Navajoa today. Goody - I love pickles and miss them on my burgers. Going to watch for the dolphins - they usually come by in the morning. And the seagulls are all out front of us waiting for Bill to come out and feed them cookies. ...

It is a beautiful morning in the Ozarks!!!!!!

I drank a DR Pepper in the afternoon yesterday---------which I know not to do-------as finally about 5:00 AM this morning it wore off------- & I went to bed--------- but while I cleaned the house----- & did about everything else------while I was awake--- I joined Facebook---that many of my friends had asked me to do & I just had not for what ever reason--------
Well that can be addictive can't it?????????

Wow! What was in that Dr Pepper??! I need a case of it! We are enjoying our last day at the beach. Getting ready this afternoon to leave in the morning. It has been a wonderful vacation & hopefully the start of a new adventure for DH & I. We appreciate all the feedback & support from you all. When we are talking about our workamping plans, he will ask, "Is there anything on your forum about that?" It's really kinda cute. I look up your old posts & read them to him.

Just want to comment, Shell - that our friendships on here are very real - and while I understand that you'll be busy and not here as often, don't forget us - cuz we won't forget you. All our lives get busier in different ways at different times. The puter is a way for me to unwind, so as busy as my life is, I use it to keep in touch with family and friends - which includes my forum sisters.

OK all you others not ignoring you - that message just resounded for me and I felt the need to send Shell that little note.

Zeee, everyone is not gonna be at this park, and not all at one time - Sparkle and I met with Mtngal today. And Kelpie will be at another park, but will be in the area and do plan to spend time with her.
