Am sure glad it's Tuesday....Morning... We had one of those strange Storm cells go through last night..around 10:45pm...and it came on fast and hard and my weather radio went off... Me jumps out of bed...and turns on the TV and low and behold I hear.. Tornado Warning...Oh yeah...this baby was coming down hard and fast and as the weather lady says, "She sees the rotation and it's right near Me !!!!! Yeah you all know that strange feeling that comes over ya as you are glued to the TV and get out the map and track this rotation coming..ooooooooooooooh now you are all ears and can't be eyes cause it's dark outside...This does the heart good... as you feel that pounding in your chest and not your feet running...This is truly a strange sensation ..at this point I'm willing to trade for SNOW !!! Thank gawd nothing landing as far as I know..cause by 11:45pm coast was clear..although do ya think I could sleep...Nah!! Nerves are twitching..so what do ya do..Toss and Turn and before ya know it...It's Tuesday Morning and here we are...

Now I'll wonder through and see how all your day has been....and then...well...we'll see ...............

NaSoosie (Soos)..Let me tell ya ..that is sure some pretty area..and I can see those Snow diamonds..and I can feel that brisk chill...infact us Floridians are gonna get another shot at it....oh yeah.. but what awesome pictures..and sure enough...Molly loves it too...

Make more cake, offer victim more cake..plunge that dent, get some flower pots and put in front..mmmmmm I like all of these...mostly the offer victim more cake.. Ya know Kelpie..we all have had them ones too..infact...I have to go over and start up my rig..and betcha dolla to a donut hole mine won't start...Good thing I turn off AUX batteries..cause I can boost off from that... Why mine won't start..haven't been over to start her up in ooooooooh (hiding head in the pillow) since Nov..YIKES... So, when you get on the road and drive her she'll charge up for ya...Make sure you check to see if you have water in the batteries... and Safe Travels to ya and Post when ya can..

Cedar...Wow you is sure been busy..forgot to get your morning cuppa...but at least ya said, "Good Night"...I'm glad you liked my kitten..I've done a few of those kitty things up...seems that animators like to use those..they are so cute and cuddly...I'll dig a few more up..

Campfire is blazing..lots of great thoughts come thru there and Hey..Fernie..how's about sitting a spell and letting us hear how you and Bash are doing...sure do miss ya here....and pray that your sister is doing ok too...

I thought the games were good..Ravens and Steelers...remember Quarterback is a youngster for the Ravens and they did pretty good to get there...and it was a tight game..points stayed low..till the interception....they struggled getting down that field...it surely was a hard moving game...kept ya glued..chopping on celery I was LOL..

RVGranny (Lori and Ernie) I don't know..but I guess I have to do a few more biting fish for ya..seems that water ain't a partin' with any ...mmmmm hence Go Fish Cards might help...LOL Hey, so now you two will be heading back this way...can't wait...

Well today is the big day..in case you all have not heard...A day in History as the News Media tells us all... and for sure... Most of us that haven't gotten our invitations in the mail will be glued to the TV....May his term be a peaceful one...and a Safe one for us all....

Now as I stir into the Kitchen..and smell my coffee perking..aaaaaah that does smell good..and set my table..Kettle is Whistling...and oooh have some Corn Muffins and yep have a few Blueberry Muffins too..oh and pushing Donut Holes.. Biscotti in the jar...soooooooooo grab a chair and let's hear what's happening in your area....

Good morning, Barb, and all!

It's a bit colder here again ----about 8 above now----and I am off to school to set up a TV in my high school library so that all faculty and students can watch the "doin's"in DC today. Some of those spectators have been out all night down there, and it's NOT warm!

Think about that many people standing around all night and all day, with a way smaller number of porta potties than they will need! I would NOT want to be the ones to clean up the mall and spectator area after this shindig goes down!!

I hope you all have a good TV watching day from the warmth of your RV or house, and just think----we DO have a place to pee when we need to!!!

Good morning Barbzeee!! It is good to see you on here!! We are doing great. The heater on the swimming pool and hot tub is to be fixed today so that is good news for us. I was in the pool the other day but it was only about 80 in the pool instead of 90!! Aren't we spoiled!! LOL

My sis seems to be doing ok from what I hear from her friends. With us, she is a little put out no one is there but I keep telling her we will be when she really needs us. She will probably go to rehab this week and will be there about a month she thinks. She wants all the answers NOW and no one knows them. I keep telling her we need to know what she is going to do before we can decide and make plans on what we need to do. I have told her I can't come and stay 4 months like I did 2 years ago when she almost lost the same foot she lost the toes on this time. She thinks we need to spend 6-8 hours a day at the hospital with her. She needs to be in assisted living at least but won't consider it. Don't know what is going to happen there.

Today is the big Inaugural Day. I plan on watching a lot of it on tv. I need to do some laundry but there is a tv in the laundry room. I know---we are spoiled here----but I love it!! Ya'll have a good day!!

Gooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Ahhh it's Tuesday morning and we've got to go into work. Is't that exciting? NOT! We are both nervous about today. We start 'nesting' today and will be on the phones. I will be so freaking lost. I think Kelly is gonna be a little better off at remembering which codes to use to go to the different screens that will be needed for info. Me? I'm lucky that I can remember the passwords to get on the computers up there!

Chilly out on the back porch this morning. Not sure of the temp out there? I didn't feel like picking up the thermometer and scraping the snow off it. We probably would have ended up with about 3" of the stuff if it hadn't warmed up enough to melt some of it off. Maybe even 4". I can just imagine the goings on yesterday at work. I bet a lot of them didn't show up because of the snow! snicker snicker

Ahhhh Barbz you can bet we are making our lists of what to take and what to get rid of. Doing the pros and cons of doing this or doing that. We will probably drive ourselves insane before it's all said and done and we get on the road. Be sure to figure out a GTG date in March because Kelly and I will be making plans and requesting days off. Got to use up them days or lose them. He77 if I worked and earned them I sure want to use them!!!

Ok, I'm all showered, dressed and ready to go. Kelly just nicely got out of the shower and went into her room to get dressed and around. I need to go outside right quick to fire up the Blazer to let it warm up at least a little and to knock the snow off. And I still need some few minutes to check email and get my comic fix. I do believe I will grab one of those blueberry muffins on my way out. YUM

Good morning ladies
ahh back to work for me and back to my normal routine. Love the picture Barbz
and I'll be having a blueberry muffin with my coffee this morning. I do love those
blueberries. Made an appt with my daughters vet to do some bloodwork on Pixie.
My vet wanted 272 bucks to do the same bloodwork as compared to my daughters
vet...only 140. That will be Thursday morning, and poor little girl has to go in
fasting for the bloodwork so she won't get her breakfast. Will have to pack a few
cookies to give her afterwards cause she'll be hungry.
Off to get ready for work, packing a lunch today cause I have stuff to eat up before
it goes bad.

Yes, yes, the Pleasure Way is in the driveway. Today I'll go to the tag office as it was closed for the holiday yesterday. Amazingly the Credit Union was open, so was able to get the business done. She'll be getting a thorough cleaning inside and out, then a nice coat of protective wax. Gotta check out all her functions and make sure I know how to operate everything...especially those things that are different from the RT. Then move stuff inside and take her on a shakedown trip to Silver River State Park (3 miles from home) in a few days. Soon I'll take her to my RV mechanic to get a thorough checkup on the engine & related. Gonna run that generator 1 hour, Beth...thanks for the advice. Do you use a gas additive?

Love the kitty peeking in the window, Barbz. Bandit is always peeking out the window and demanding to go out to the pool deck. Wish he'd sleep a little longer like your sleepy kitty yesterday.Let's set a date for a FL gtg, ok?

Echo, when the world starts to close in on you at work, try taking a little trip in your mind's eye...like to the North Rim? Maybe put a picture of it on your desk to look at once in awhile....do you even have a desk?

Fernie, I will be praying about the situation with your sister. I imagine she is afraid right now and not able yet to face those decisions she must make. Glad to hear she's making progress physically however. Hopefully rehab will make a big difference in her confidence level.

I'll watch the inauguration from my warm cozy house....would not want to be in the crowds at DC, but I imagine everyone there is so excited they won't mind the cold too much. I just hope all goes smoothly with no incidents.

Good snowy morning to ya! We are still deciding whether to head home or not. It isn't snowing yet here at the beach, but it is snowing between here & home. The wind is howling! Who gets snowed in at Myrtle Beach??!! Anyhoo, it won't break my heart if we have to stay another day or so. This has been a wonderful trip for us tho. We have made a major decision, thanks largely to you all!! I will be posting a separate thread all about it, but for the first time since he retired, we are happy & excited about our future!

Morning everyone from cloudy Mexico. It is overcast today and only 66 out. At least the clouds have broken enough that we are getting TV reception. Yesterday we had sporadic rain showers and the Internet and TV came and went. So today we will watch Obama - have invited the kids next door who have no TV to watch with us. They are from Colorado - brrrrrrrrrr. Traveling in a truck camper with their dog.
The sun is trying to break through. Did I mention that we got to watch a school of dolphins play just in front of us. Neat.

Like Soosie, I'm on tv detail here at school. I brought my own little flat screen from home for the computer lab,... we have tvs set up in other locations around the building. even the cafeteria. nobody wants to miss this moment. Don't you just wish Martin was here to see it!

Morning All. Trying to watch as much of the inauguration as I can between working. So just skimming the forum right now.

Liz, I don't use an additive in my gas. But I do make sure I follow the oil, etc instructions carefully on the generator. Because of some of the wonderful ladies I've met rving, who are on this forum, I learned how easy it is to change the oil on the generator myself. And that I do as needed.

Got to go look at other posts to find the exciting news from SC!

Good Morning------I guess sit is still morning--------we are getting small flakes of snow here this morning in Branson-------
So you girls think my picture makes me look different????????? Maybe the color of my hair is a little darker------
Have about a million things to do today---------so have a good one every body-------later-------

Beth------- I showed Hubby the picture of you "baby dents"---------& he said my gosh ---a piece of cake--------if I was there I could have that fixed in a minute or two!!!!! You have not see dents yet----------

I put one in the horse trailer one time that caved in the whole front end of the trailer-------my load shifted on me-------& was lucky I didn't roll the trailer--------had too much weight on the trailer----- thought I had those steers packed into there where they could not move------ But they did------ & it went to hell in a hand basket really quick--------just glad I didn't roll it-----or things could have turned out a whole lot worse then they did--------but Hubby used that thingie---- & a rubber hammer----& it was a bad DENT------ and it was almost as good as new-------- those baby dents are nothing--------as he said a piece of cake!!!!!!!! All you need is the right person fixing it!!!!!!!
Don't worry about it--------if that is the only thing --------you have it made in the shade----------
