Meet Moka

Postby Paulette » Sat May 18, 2013 8:06 am

Thought I'd drop in and Introduce you all to the latest addition of our family. She's a jug, which is a pug and jack Russell mix. My gd is interested in obedience and then agility training her and I think it would be a good hobby for her. She's a smart pup. She had her first vet check yesterday and they all fell in love with her...of course, who doesn't love puppies?

After I get her housebroken, we can give the rv a try.

Ah, puppy breath!!!!

How sweet! You're right, hard to not fall in love with a puppy.

Absolutely adorable. It will be interesting to see which she resembles more, the pug or jack russell. I have two pug/chi mix dogs and one is more pug and the other more chi. Agility training sound like a really good hobby for you GD. It should be fun for both of them. Linda

Thanks everyone. She's really sweet and we are working on crate training...boy can she yelp...or is it yodel? I thinks she will end up mor looking like pug as she is 3/4 ths pug and only 1/4 jr. But, ya never know with a mix!

Lori, I still haven't made my reservations, but I'm getting close! And yes, I will have her with me and my BFF might come along too! And maybe both cats! But no grand kid...she will be with her mom.

Progress is being made! We actually walked on leash this morning...wasn't far and I'm making her let me lead...because I need to be alpha dog here. But she did good...I'm so proud! And we are still working on the housebreaking part. Some take longer than others to catch on I guess. But she doesn't cry and yelp in her crate anymore either. So, we are settling in. Of course, I asked my granddaughter yesterday to remind me again why SHE wanted a puppy! I should know better than to think she would really pitch in with her...but I WILL make sure she follows thru with the obedience training...me thinks it will be good for BOTH of them!
