Hello from Maryland

Postby brendac » Mon Apr 22, 2013 1:10 pm

Hi there,
Brenda here. I am a crossover from ORS and am looking forward to making new friends here. Last May, in VA, I had the pleasure of meeting Soos, Irmi and Steve, and shirlv. They suggested that I join here, but as you all know sometimes life gets in the way. I would like to use my rv more this year and join some gtg's. I am trying to figure out how to get have my avatar from ORS show here. Photobucket has changed since I last did this and I need some time to figure it out. LOL Safe travels to all.

Brenda here. I am a crossover from ORS. I have been on my own for a few years now. Last May I had the pleasure of meeting Soos, shirlv and Irmi and Steve. They suggested that I join this forum and make more friends. I have a 32ft fifth wheel that I have hauled from Florida to Alaska. The Alaska trip was with my late husband. I do have a daughter in Calgary Alberta that I visit frequently both with and without the rv. I will try to post some pictures and an avatar as soon as I figue this out LOL

Double posts or not...we are glad you found your way over. Check out the gtg thread and also just look at the member map and if you are headed out towards anyone's area there are always PM's to get someone's attention. I think Carole has become our role model for making mini gtg as she crosses the country.

Welcome from another Marylander. There's a gtg in PA this summer...hope to meet you there perhaps.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes.

I am seriously considering both the PA and the Ruckus gtgs.
I will have a better idea in the next few weeks.

Soos, I sure hope we can meetup again.

carolb, I travel close to your area often as I visit my family in Ontario, Canada

Paulette, it's nice to meet another MDer

Anytime! Are yew retired? Do yew plan to travel often--weekends/weekdays? I'm looking for a place to go this weekend, maybe extend it into next week, bt probably not MD. One never knows tho! I post mostly on Morning Coffee since I'm an early riser. Also, if yew haven't been told, yewse the PM (private msg) icon if yew want to get personal info to anyone. Something I didn't know when I first joined the forem--anyone can read all forem posts, only members can read the PM's....Will see yew at one of the gtg's this sommer! :D
