BRRRRR BRRRRR BRRRRR brrrrr It's freaking cold out there. It was -3f out on my back porch this morning! OMG That's entirely to dang cold for TN. Let me tell ya it didn't take Shade to awful long to do her morning business and run back up on the porch and want in. LOL

It's Friday and the last day of the week. Ahhhhhhh Tho I am planning on going into to work tomorrow and grabbing some overtime. Not sure if I'm gonna work 4hrs or 6hrs yet. I'll have to see how it goes first. This check I'm working on is earmarked for rent so the overtime and extra money will be good. And what makes it even better is that my old supervisor is on vacation this week so I wont have to put up with her. LOL

Was gonna visit the campfire last night but I've been having a slight problem with this thing for the past couple of weeks and I couldn't get in until just before I went to bed last night. And it's not just this forum either. I guess I will have to take it to the computer Doctor and find out what the heck is going on with it. It's also been shutting itself down too?? I really don't look forward to the bill on this.

Well I have the coffee pot ready and waiting, got hot chocolate too, hot water for tea. Of course the rest of the goodies too. But I have a big kettle of oatmeal sitting here for everyone to dig into. Butter, milk, brown sugar, maple syrup whatever you might want for the oatmeal is here. Unless you want something totally weird???

Thanks for getting something warm started here in the kitchen,... and pass that coffee plueeeeeeze! I would guess that Soosie is a solid block of ice up at her place as it's -22° here in my "tropic zone".... oh my, I wonder if she'll hit thirty below! It's always colder at her place that mine here in the valley.

I'm headed to work, and will catch up on the rest of the posts after I get settled in my chair at the computer lab at school. Have a great day all,.. and Echo, get the heck back inside! You will freeze your toes at that temp!

Not a fan of this cold! It's 25 here. We don't do 25. I know a lot of you have it much worse, but we really aren't used to it. All my pups slept in their jammies last night so I didn't have to dress them to go out. It is wicked COLD out there. I was going home today but Hubby, the non-camper wants to stay til Monday. We are going to another CG tho so I've got to start packing. I hate moving esp to go right next door, but I do like that CG better. I'll check back in this afternoon when we are set back up.

And good morning all - walked Peaches and was back inside where I turned up my heat and made some hot chocolate long before 8. Am I sick or something? It's a day off and the first thing I have to do is attend a wedding at 1. Since it's here in the rec hall - doesn't even mean getting ready much before that. So I'm not sure why I got up and about before now lol - and Peaches is down for her morning nap. Sparkle is coming by in awhile and we're going to get our registrations in for The Rally and the balloon ride we plan to take. That'll get Peaches up - they love to play together. Not sure who is the silliest when they do.

Morning all, it's a bit chilly here in central TX, but oh my, the news from the NE! Cedar, that's really cold. When I lived high in Sierra Nevada, the coldest we got was 7 below, of course, much colder in the back country. That was 1971 I think when all the trees froze in the Bay Area. Today I'm sewing covers for my DD "new" chair cushions. Wish me luck!

Good morning---------- we are 11 degrees here in our part of the Ozarks--------the coldest it has been since we have been here & the weatherman says the coldest it has been in several years here ---------- but we are cozy & warm inside!!!!!

I am working on those tons of family pictures that I saved & wanted to make scrap books for the grandsons-----so I'm scrap booking again & enjoying that-------- I also have out some hand work that I have not done in a while-----& also making bowl fillers ---I like to decorate the house for every season & holiday-----since I don't have the room I had before I'm making all sorts of bowl fillers for decorating with! That way I can decorate & it doesn't take up a lot of room!

Also planning our small yard for when the weather is nice-------we plan on totally redoing the yard------to put in more flower beds & also raised garden beds-- & fish pond------so we are drawing plans for the yard also--------can't wait until nice weather to expand outside!!!!!!!

It sounds like it's cold all over the place today !! It's 39 here and sort of windy - it's suppose to warm up to 58 so that's nice Lots of sunshine too.
Don't you all think Echo already sounds happier ?!?!
Nothing much on the agenda for me today - I may go explore some new place, or maybe I'll just hang close to home. I'll just have to see what the day brings.

10 more minutes of morning, if I hurry. My brother called...he finally left his camp in NH to head for his winter home in FL, Venice area. He was so anxious he drove right through Ocala without even stopping to see me! I don't blame him though, it's supposed to be in the 20s here tonight and he's had enough of the cold weather. Think I may have to go south for the winter too!

I'm going to look at one more RV, the Pleasure Way, today, before I stop and rethink it all. There's a scripture that applies to me right now in my undecisive state: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed..." (James 1:5-6) Right now I'm wavering a lot....one day I think I ought to trade, it's a good time to trade, etc., and the next day I think I ought to be happy with what I have, all paid for, it's a terrible time to add debt, etc. I'm going to have to seek some wisdom.

Meanwhile, I'm still way behind reading posts, so I'm off...good day to all!

Oh...just a news flash... About that plane crashing into the Hudson...my niece's son was on it ..!!! Oh Yeah.. that boy has the luck of the "Irish"..and thank the good Lord that they had a great pilot too... He was on his way to the races in the Carolina's.....

Now for the rest of the story....mmmmmm didn't place in the contest..but that's ok..got some really great tags for Good mornings done..cute ones..and now I'll wallow in my self pity and buy a few things on line... oooooooh and will be getting with Liz and Nan..for our Florida GTG ...
