Sunday morning, right?

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday morning, right?

Postby avalen » Sun Jan 11, 2009 8:14 am

well good morning, I do believe its Sunday, everyone must still be sleeping.
Coffee is ready and blueberry bagels and cream cheese, or banana if ya want
and always biscotti, so eat up, got lots to do, I'm going on a hike today. :P
Sister and hubby are picking me up at 10, packing a lunch and off we go.
Will take my camera for sure, and a fresh set of batteries. Off to read up
on what I've missed on the forum, except I do remember something about
Sparkle in jail in mexico? Sparkle, did you find your green card yet? I'd be
in tears if they had me in that little room, what a scary experience.
Have a great day ladies, stay warm and be safe.

OMG, I missed that post! Guess I've got some catching up to do!

Hubby & the rest of the pack came down last evening. It should be quite a week with 2 adults & 6 pups in this lil Allergo. Yes, there will be 6 dogs here. Normally we don't have so many, but I'm fostering 3. I couldn't leave them home. It really isn't so bad & thank goodness they are small. All 6 of them don't add up to one of a big dog! Weight wise anyway!

Hope you all have a great day. And Ava hope you have lots of fun with your sister. DId you sleep better last night?

Ava, I can stop hiding. A big thank you to Beth for smuggling me out. I found my card after a cleaning frenzy. It was on its side against the wall of a drawer, one that I had already searched, but missed it. I slept well!

Good morning ladies,

So glad to see all is well in TX...

Yesterday I spent the day at RV dealers...just looking for fun. But almost took the plunge on a 24' BT Cruiser...it was a very good deal. The Lord protected me and my own good sense made me not go looking with the RT, just so I'd be forced to think first. By the time I got home and thought about what a really good deal was offered and called back to tell them I was coming back with my RT...they'd sold it. I always figure when that happens that it wasn't what God intended for me, so I don't feel bad. Still looking for fun though. Going to the big RV show in Tampa this week to look, and am going to look at a Pleasure Way for sale by a private owner too.

Church today....gotta pray about any big decision like that.

GOOD MORNING ALL!!!

It's 32 degrees warmer here this morning than it was at this time yesterday! Temperature is at +10 F., and it feels like a heat wave.

I hope to ski today as the sun gets up----we have another 5 or so inches of new white, fluffy snow, so skiing should be excellent! It's one of those mornings where 'diamonds' are sifting through the air in the sun----little sparkling crystals that just condense from the atmosphere, I think. I'll include a couple of pictures in this post so you can see what my world is like on this Sunday. I sure hope you all have a wonderful day, and remember to do at least one fun thing for yourself!

Thanks for the hot coffee!!!

This photo doesn't do the diamonds from the sky any justice, but you can get the idea.

Looks as if it could be a sunny Sunday!

Liz, when I look online for Pleasure Ways for sale by owner, there are always quite a few in Florida. How nice to be that close to all those neat little rigs! Good luck and have fun looking.
My finance guy called me in last week for a serious talk about my investments. About half of mine got wiped out from last Sept - Nov! So we've had to get creative so I don't deplete what's left. So now my monthly income will be cut in half, just a bit over my projected budget, so I'm having to tighted the belt. He said this will probably last 2 yrs! So my "B" dream has been shelved for a little longer, it seems. The upside of this is that God is still providing a way for me to live comfortablly and I'm all kinds of grateful for that.

AMEN TO THAT!!!!!!!!!!

We lost soooooooooo much money on our real estate & personal property & then we lost money in all of our 401 K's & all of our stocks & all at the same time!!!!!!! What a blow it is when you look at it on paper!!!!!!!!!!

But God is good & providing for us!!!!!!

Good morning all! Life is good here on my little hill, sun is shining and the fresh 5.5 inches of new snow is still clean and sparkling.

Ah, Liz, yes, things sure do happen for a reason - there must be something better out there for you- and you haven't been to the big rv show you're planning to go to :) I'm hoping nothing speaks too loudly to me in April - as I have been spending some money on this rig (new fridge, getting the micro/conversion oven) and it is my intentions to keep it through the Alaska trip and then another year or more before looking, if even then. Oh, and I intend to get a new TV and a new muffler to my generator before leaving here. Will be totally broke LOL - well, if not then, definitely after the AK trip!

Soos - I always love your pictures. They remind me how beautiful it is up north - and also remind me of why I'm not there :)

Sparkle was just here playing with Peaches, including brushing her. I think Peaches now considers Sparkle as important to her as me - so good to see Peaches turn a new leaf as she gets to know people. And she couldn't have picked a better person to rely on. Peaches even has finally gone up to Bogie for a little kiss - not sure either of them were thrilled with it - but is something.

Off to read then get some work done here. Have a great day.

Good morning all !
It seems like it'll be nice today - it's cloudy, but not raining. Don't know what the temp is, but it feels nice, so that's all I need to know :D
Today is bill paying day and I do need to vacuum, but that's it for me. Oh, we're having movie night tonight too - that should be fun.
Hope everyone enjoys their day !!

Good Morning Sistahs!!!

I've been up since 7am but didn't jump in here. Checked my email, got my comic fix, read online news and then? Got really sidetracked playing computer games. ;) It's been awhile since I really got into that. I've played four of them so far this morning.

Love the pictures of the fresh new snow!!! I honestly don't think there's anything more beautiful than a new pristine covering of snow. Covers everything, no tracks, no dirt, pure and quiet. Awesome!!! Thanks to both Cedar and Soos for feeding that need in me. I don't miss the frigid cold but I miss the snow.

Sparkle!!! Good Lord woman!!! What will you do next? Those kinds of adventures you can do without!!!

Liz is looking and teasing herself. I've been doing the same thing. ;) Sure wish I had to money to buy. I simply am amazed at the prices that they are putting on RV's cause they need to get rid of them so badly to get some money going.

Nothing much on my agenda for today. Got to finish the dishes, threw the dishes themselves in the dishwasher but didn't wash the pots and pans so they need to be scrubbed up. Got floors and laundry to do and a trip to the grocery store for the week. That's it on my end. Gonna be a nice quiet day. Had planned on doing some of this stuff yesterday but when I laid down to take my nap? I died! LOL Set my alarm for 2hrs but when it went off I shut it off and snuggied back down. I slept close to 6hrs. He77 of a nap.

Hope everyone has a super day and stays safe.
