What a treat

How ironic.....yesterday one of the seniors at work brought me in a bottle of wine as he was cleaning and purging (he is 87) asked me if I drank red wine
and of course I said "yes, I'll drink it all, I'm a wino" I will save it for tomorrow, which is today and pop it open to celebrate my two payoffs.
He said he had no idea if it was good wine or not but that it needed a corkscrew to open. I take it out to the car and open the bag and read the label...
Double Dog Dare, how appropriate for a double payoff. So today I paid off both loans, got home from work and popped the cork. Its VERY tasty,
yum yum, on my second glass and trying to save some for son as he said he would get a glass when he got back from some apt duties. I'm happy, in more
ways than one. Its a momentous day for me as a day like this has NEVER happened in my life.

oh yea, and I took myself out to lunch today too....what and where? you say my favorite Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity at IHOP, ok, so I love pancakes
and strawberries with whipped cream

Congratulations Alice. I enjoyed very much meeting you a the Quartzsite GTG. You've had a very momentous day. That's quite an accomplishment and definitely worth celebrating. You should be very proud. I can't wait until I can do the same and pay off my RV. I bet you sleep especially well tonight knowing those burdens have been lifted from your shoulders.
