Don't panic GF. It'll all get done and the first trip is the scariest. If it doesn't all get done today, then you'll be on the road tomorrow. Doesn't matter. You'll be fine and I'll see you in Q!

Shiela - agree with Mitch's sign!! Is the tank on the truck filled? Do your check around. Now, you are ready to head out. Take it easy and before you know it, that scared feeling will be gone. Be safe and enjoy.

Thank you everyone!!! appreciate all the good thoughts
got a call in the am from my son where he is working they sometimes can't
work cause what needed to be done yesterday wasn't so he was going to be off
work today although I felt really bad for him and the lose of wages I was grateful
for me...anyway got up to a very cold house... so had to go fill propane tank while I was gone
son came and started getting the snow off then we just started getting it done most of the
stuff inside was done just had to take out garbage and put some of the stuff on the floor
then put slides in got all the hoses taken care of and I backed the truck up and into the
hitch..only took oh more than 3 back ups but less than 6 I think
then I left the site went through one that way didn't have to make a tight corner then when we got to
the almost main road decided that it was best to back up a bit which I did all of 10 feet perhaps and go
through another site again to avoid someones truck sitting out where I might have met it in making my wide
turn then on to the street then to the freeway...the only scary place was I decided to walk around a bit and so
left the freeway and when I got to the end of the exit a stop sign and boy did that thing jerk scary at the service station
there was a guy riding around in a golfcart so I mentioned it to him and how scary it was he reassured me it was
normal not sure that much jerking was normal though  just think I need to slow down more sooner
got to Cedar City found a campground and had a old friend come over and we visited for a bit tomorrow up and out
got the Virgin River Gorge to face then going to go around Vegas take the exit at Logandale and follow the lake to Boulder
City friends go that way hopefully it will be the wise thing to do hoping to make it to Needles tomorrow then Q the next day
again thanks for the words of encouragement

Didn't mean to confuse you, and some others. I have a job for site only. I want one that gives me some money!

And job well done. One day at a time.

So proud of you Sheila. You are doing what I could not do. No way could I have pulled our 5th wheel.

I have a pattern for a afghan that when people see it say they never could do it and I say if I can you can
If I can drive towing this 36 ft 5th wheel you can!!!

Now for today's jaunt
got up and got ready to go checked my lights and wondered how do I by myself check the brakes?? and can't see the left turn signal is it because of the sun or what??? pondered the truck and boat sorted sitting out in the drive in front of me decided will go for it made that turn stopped at the office to see if the person inside could help me with the brakes showed her what signals to use and she couldn't see the brake or turn signal on left either... so off to Loves I went for fuel and to see if I could find anyone to help my first thought was a fuse...the clerk told me where I could go to have them check it over...city traffic wasn't sure about that and for a fuse??? so went to some men and asked if they knew anything about fuses described the problem and they said sounds like a bulb just then a young male attendant came out said he was told I was having so problem and we went to look at the light and sure enough it was a bulb bought a bulb and he gave me a tutorial on how to put it in... very kind of him then had to wait forever in line seriously some people take forever the man came from the building then started to gas up then when through proceeded to wash the windows...after I got diesel got back on the freeway and headed south made it through St George then the Virgin River Gorge and did ok white knuckle the whole way but made it through. Had heard of a way that I could avoid the freeways of Vegas thought that is a good thing so pulled into one of the truck parking spots and checked out the map decided to go for it...was way slower up hill and down hill curves ect not sure I will do that again might have to 'pull up the big girl panties and go for the freeways of Vegas' Got to Shotgun fueled up at get this 3.93 in NV!!! decided it's only 3;30 will hurry on to Needles hopefully before dark didn't want to drive after dark...got here about 10 mins after the sun had set still not dark went past the road and had to turn the monster around and go back did that and got parked in my site before dark then a shower felt so good
so ready for the travel for the day to end...on to Q tomorrow it's only about 105 miles!!!
Anita looking forward to meeting you
and thanks everyone for all your good thoughts
