Charley 2000-2012

Postby Redetotry » Fri Sep 14, 2012 8:09 am

For the first time since 1974 I am without a Standard Poodle by my side & I feel like a part of me is missing. My first was Nickel and she lived to be almost sixteen, then there was Anne, Tessa and then my wonderful buddy dog Charley. I miss him so very much. I truly believe he knew my every thought.

Oh how I hate to read these posts about losses of our beloved 4-footers---I always need to have a box of kleenex close by. I am so sorry for your loss, BJ. I know how it feels to suddenly have a huge part of your life missing. And perhaps he still will know your every thought, so send him your love. Big hugs to you.

BJ - I'm so sorry to hear about Charley. May he enjoy himself at the Rainbow Bridge.

My heart breaks every time I read something about a person losing their furbaby. I remember how devastated I was when I lost my Bandit, my first dog. Charley was lucky to have you in his life.

BJ, so sorry to hear about Charlie. He was a beautiful dog! It never gets any easier with each loss. Remember all the good times and keep him close in your heart always! He knows he was loved and had a wonderful life with you!

BJ - sending more hugs your way. Charley was indeed a good companion and know how hard it is to loose a furbaby.

(((( hugs )))) And it doesn't matter how many others that we have had to walk through this journey with....each one is the one that is there with us at that moment...it doesn't get any easier....other than the knowing that they are depending upon us to love them enough.... May Charley's legs be strong and may he be gamboling about without pain and eating whatever he wants when ever he wants... :) Give an extra snuggle to Winnie and Andy..... Around here, Remi was the only 4-footed one that seemed to be hunting for the big dog for a few days....

BJ, so very, very sorry for the loss of Charley!!! He will be waiting for you on the other side. While he is waiting he will be enjoying the extra rolls in the soft green grass.
