I'm Home, Not real Happy About It ,,

Postby Carolinagal » Wed Jul 18, 2012 8:47 pm

Arrived home this evening, of course everything is a mess, cobwebs everywhere including in my hair :? Thinking of living in RV.

Have Dr. App. In the morning, legs and feet are a swollen mess, really concerned, has to be for a reason. Praying it's not something serious , won't think about that tonight.

Gen is not fixed. As new as it is and dieasel not many Onan repairmen are qualified to work on it. Parts are only in certain shops around the country. So it will wait until I get the" Bod "back running properly.

Thanks for the well wishes for my safety and to enjoy my trip, I did enjoy, just couldn't do all I would have liked,in the time I had, each day I felt dr. App. Was more important.

So I'm home, not a happy camper, but if I can get some easy to fix remedy for the swelling and off meds and BP on track again all will be well. So thanks for thinking of me!!!

CArol, it's quite possibly the meds causing the swelling. So hopefully getting things taken care of and off them might make that go away also. Hope so and quickly for your sake! Glad you're home safely, sorry the generator problems still aren't fixed. I'd make sure to call Onan and let them know how disappointed you are. And how in the heat you were traveling in, it was not a good thing! Big hugs to you - glad you can get right into your doctor. And keep us posted.

Here's the post I was looking for! I am so glad you are back safe and sound, and that you will see the doc right away, today. Keep us posted on what is going on, please. And, as you say, your body is way more important than your generator! Hugs to you and Maggie, and a big sigh of relief from me.

It might take a few days for the swelling to subside. I'm guessing the heat could have been part of the problem. Sorry for the aggravation of the generator but stress and worry are detrimental to your health. Priority is getting with your Dr and restoring of your health. You're in my prayers.

I'm chiming in on x? of what everyone said. I also agree with Beth and Nancy about the meds and heat. Could be a combination of them. Good luck with the Doc and gen!

Also in agreement with Beth to call Onan and gripe!!! Not right that they put the gens in there and that very few people can work on them.

Last year when I was traveling with my son in the Southwest, I had a terrible time with my ankles and feet swelling. It had never happened before. I went to my doctor and she never could find the cause.

The good news is that it went away about a week after I returned. I had no problems with blood pressure or my heart and it never came back. She said sometimes it just happens, so I hope your tests also turn out negative for any problems.
