Out pet enclosures

Postby lak99 » Tue Jul 17, 2012 4:18 pm

Hi all of you traveling with fur babies,

Take a look at these. I have a small kitty walk system. It sets up in minutes
and allows the kitties to be outside without the worry of their escaping. It is
really great when you can set it on some grass.

Has anyone used these mesh pet enclosures for a cat when out on the road?

This is what I used for my cat when traveling. It worked well, but did wear out after a little over a year. My 16 # cat without claws did eventually push a hole through the fabric. I replaced it with a new one after a year, then Nan took the old one and replaced the mesh with a stronger fabric that was escape proof.

Is the fabric equivalent to the mesh siding on a baby's playpen? I bought a playpen at a rummage sale to contain little Miss Radar when she was a pup. I left her in it while I went to run some errands....I came back in a little over an hour and she met me at the door. Chewed a hole right through it.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.
