Tina, the pictures were fantastic! I had to agree on the pass of the Mexican Restaurant right there with the Laundromat. I can just bet it wouldn't be the TexMex I am used to .

Your pictures are really beautiful. When I was in Seward and saw the RVs parked right on the water, it lite the pilot light that has been burning every since to do what you are doing. I loved Seward and Homer. I bet the dogs are loving it.

Tina, how is our beloved Herschel doing?

Vickie, Herschel is still the constant navigator....sitting on his throne. He takes a maintenance dose of Predisone every other day and though his hind legs are not as strong as they used to be he is happy to get up and go every morning. We just don't don't go for as far or for as long on any walks. He also said that he loves the look of those rugged trails but that he would leave the rocky, root filled trails to Stewart's nimble feet. He is glad to be in Alaska!

So glad Hershel is still enjoying his trip..I suspect he would love a trip to the next county as long as mom is driving. I can't find my reading glasses in this mess but I think that is an art gallery in the church. Speaking of mess, I would much rather be in Alaska seeing the beauty than here looking at stuff that is waiting for a new home.

Thank you, Tina, for the Herscheldog report. And thank you, Vickie, for asking. I've been a little afraid to. Glad to hear that he's still navigating....doubt if Stewart is up to it yet...he's liable to spot a squirrel on the side of the road and have you taking the Short Bus on a 4X4 adventure!

Looks like ya'll are having a great time and wonderful adventures! Sure is bringing back a lot of memories of my trip up there.
